Great Zetca items, you don't see these very often, I would like an R2, but can't find one at a price I'm willing to pay.
Particularly like the card art on these items, they look great on display.
Cheers Ian, I'm thinking of bringing some of my weirder stuff to FF one of these days. Be good if people did a bit of show and tell
Now that's a great idea, it would be really interesting to see different items like these close up.

See you there! These were all less than £100 with post, but unfortunately I can't see me splashing out for 3PO or the Landspeeder. They are pricey

curiostity buy if anything.. .

bought a loose retro tarkin only took 3 days to come from overseas £15 in total

im a bit meh about it. its not for me i wasnt like wow. a nice nod to the past and clearly a cash cow for collectors. they have pretty much copied the imperial commander sculpt. i still think they should of cast it in army green not grey. i have a took a pic along side my minty pbp imperial commander for your perusal to.compare.

chris

Interesting, Tarkin looks to be a slightly smaller scale, is that correct or is it a trick of the camera?

Some varied and interesting pieces on the last few pages. Love what Michael Smith is doing with that four pack, and Steve's Meccano Yan is superb. Congrats Edd - great achievement and Scott too on your grails.

This Zetca TIE and R2D2 arrived today to compliment my X Wing. Still can't get over how diddy they are

Some really nice pick-ups recently. :)

I was really chuffed to receive this yesterday, a Canadian R2 32bk MOC. A great addition to my mini R2 focus (which is slowly growing, lol)...

Here's a silly sideline I've been trying to complete for some years and have finally done so: a set of five knock-off keyrings. Ages ago a poster, I think here, acquired an unused shop hanger full of them which was my guidance. The character choice suggests they're from the 70s. I remember psychadelic Vader, and psychadelic Vader only, appearing in a local shop in abundance circa 1984 though.

That was me i bought 2 unused hangers :) they came from closed tobbaco/sweet shop in blackpool. Ive since sold one to simon. Regards chris

You did indeed, mate, and they still reside very happily in my cabinet, pride of place at be front :) That said, I think it's time for the "beyond the toys" bits to go as I need more toy space...

Chipsteak that's a great accomplishment. To find the set individually amongst the millions of "Star Wars Keychain" listings is quite an accomplishment.

Edd, that's also a great milestone. Would love a run like that. Wallet and space says it's not to be at this time, though.

Carl, some nice pick ups there mate. Can't go far wrong with a main character on a Palitoy card. And a DF R2 is a nice buy, too.

As for the 32 back Canadian R2....love it. Original R2 and 3PO on ESB cards must be in my top 3 of must have MOCs.

Spoons, love the Zetca! Always admired those from afar but they fit in with nothing I collect but they're so cool. The packaging wouldn't be out of place on a shop shelf today.

Great finds everyone. Think it's getting harder and harder to find interesting things, personally. The splurge of collectors selling up has slowed to a trickle from what it was a year or two ago so new interesting finds are tough.

After 35 years, I'm happy to say my childhood Jabba playset finally has a Slave Leia to go along with it. This custom figure blends in nicely with the set.

The other photo is of me with my Grandparents on my birthday back in 1983. As you can see, this very playset is sitting on the coffee table.

Star Wars is a direct link to so many great childhood memories for me.
