The bloke makes a living from being a 24k bell end.

Fair play, he seems to do well out of it but I suppose when you are as gifted as he is at it I'm sure it comes effortlessly.

Just about a better human being than Katie Hopkins. Only just mind.

Funny how this didn't really come across when he interviewed Warwick Davis for his life stories program. He really is a massive tosser.

Mr Morgan... He's an odd one...

I went to a publisher do with him as one of a few guest authors about 6 years ago, there were a range of nice to meet people there, including at the time one chap I really wanted to meet; Dave Gorman. Turned out that the guy I wanted meet was a total bell end on the night, not funny in anyway (despite being a comedian and comedic author) and totally up himself about being centre of attention; beyond disappointing, but them the breaks...

Mr Morgan on the other hand was without doubt the nicest guy in the room and although I'm sure he would have easily had his drinks bought by the publisher, but he chose to spend his own money buying many rounds for me a mate as we spent the night talking not about books, but about football. He's a Gooner, I'm Spurs and the banter was good value. Now I'm not saying he is a wonderful human being, he supports Arsenal for a start, I also don't know him that well, but based on first hand 'hanging out with him for a night', he sure isn't satan either.

In other news, David Attenborough, not a nice guy at all in the flesh, that refused to meet most people and refused to sign unless at a book signing... no time to talk to people apparently...

I guess the media's portrayal of people (behind the stories (often bad stories I admit) that make them famous) is a good screen that we can all fall for, some of them obviously play up to it too, but its not always as cut and dry as we are all led to believe.

Katie Hopkins, never met her, no interest either

Blokes a complete chump, to the point it's actually funny. Until you think how much money he makes out of it.

You know Steve, you really hit the nail on the head.

A lot of fans (and cast!) have a massive problem with Anthony Daniels - and I've heard many people speak ill of him and he's never come across too well on tv when I've seen him either, however...

When I was studying TV and Film at college in the late 80's, I wrote to his agent to see if he would be so gracious as to let me interview him for a project that was part of my course work.

Not only did he agree, he called me at home one evening and we spoke for nearly half an hour about Star Wars, he then arranged the for the Museum of the Moving Image in London to allow us to film the interview in the science fiction area and closed it off to the public! He bought along many props including a 3PO helmet used at the start of Jedi, and then took me, my lecturer and 2 fellow students that helped me out to dinner - now he might be an ass hole, but clearly he's isn't one 100% of the time!!!

I don't like Piers Morgans comments though, but each to their own...

I don't think it's all the media. I'm sure he plays up to it as well. Why not, as he can make a good living out of it.

I met Anthony Daniels at celebration Europe for an autograph. What a twat he was. I asked him if he could put something before the auto, as everyone else had. He basically told me they didn't have time in the most patronising way. He signed it and told me not to smudge it so I took the print to one side and gently blew on the ink to dry it.

He then turns around and says "Now we don't blow on the stars because we give them germs and we don't want them to get ill and die". Nob.

I find piers Morgan entertaining. Whenever he appears on talk sport he actually gives forthright opinions rather than the usual safe crap that most pundits do so they can suck up.

I read his Star Wars rant and it didn't bother me, in fact i laughed. I'd rather him say that than have to listen to celebs ooze about how much they love Star Wars and kirk is their favourite character, or Vanessa Marshall get teary about how much of a fan they are (still not believing that).

Piers Morgan has created an interesting persona, someone prepared to give a different opinion, and I say so long may that continue.

I stopped believing in 'heroes' when as a teenager I met John fashanu, he was a massive twat. People like Dennis Muren get my respect these days.

I believe this is a classic case of trying to provoke a reaction to get more publicity. To be quite honest, I could care less what Piers Morgan thinks about anything, let alone his views on Star Wars... On a side note when he interviewed Warwick Davis - He was quite happy enough to bring up SW throughout the interview.

He's a Twat.

He won't have sex with the lights on.

Only Missionary.

Says strangers things when having sex.

He's a ****.

It just makes you wonder if he writes this crap just to get people talking..
you say something controversial and you stay in the public eye.

My opinion = brown nosing smug idiot who writes for a **** paper and supports a wank team

Back in '96 I won Sex Pistols (reunion tour) tickets from the Sun newspaper and got a letter from Piers wishing me a great day enclosed with the tickets. I believe he was the editor at the time or maybe showbiz editor/what have you.
Best gig ever and also my first gig ever.
