Just been taking exams for my AS. Had my Key Skills Communications exam today.

I'm mostly into Horror, Sci-Fi and Anime but I'll watch practically anything.

Not at all.

First unit was "Messages and values" where you have to look at, you guessed it: Messages and values in a set list of films. Second unit was "The Swinging Sixties" where we had to look at representation of the sixties in a set list of films.

Can't remember what we had for Messages and Values :lol:

Just remembered another unit called "Passions and Repressions" where we studied films called "The Magdalene Sisters" and "Beautiful Thing".

For the sixties we did "Performance", "Cathy Come Home" and "A Hard Day's Night".

We had another close study section where we had to learn alot about the film and we had one called "Sweet Sixteen" and "The Wicker Man".

Thank **** A-levels consisted of 2 or 3 exams at the end of upper sixth in my day!
(Ohh and obviously exams were harder then as well! :wink: :lol: )


xAngelx, I think I've heard of a few of those films but don't think I've seen them. I would struggle with that course if the film didn't interest me I wouldn't watch it

Beucase i'm behond caring now... it's only 3 science's and a systems and control exam. Science i shall fail, systems passed easily. I'm not all that bothered about school, just wanna get to college now. 8)
