Farthest From II - Fordingbridge, Hampshire

What a great sequel- it was just like Empire Strikes Back.

Thanks to everyone that made it so special once again.

I can only echo what Jez said. Thanks Dave for a great day. Loads of lovely Star Wars stuff. And loved the Micronaughts toys the guy had brought from his late grandmothers collection! Sweet

I never knew Duncan owns the original death star prop from ANH. Wooh.

And Gus brought my Snowspeeder. Chuffed.

Funky day. Cheers Dave.

I agree guys it was a great day. Lots of Star Wars chat and a real honour to meet Gus and Duncan. Their knowledge on all things Star Wars is truly incredible and listening to some of their experiences in tracking down items was awesome.

It was great to meet everyone again, some great conversations about vintage and Dave's presentation at the end about the Action Force cross overs with the Star Wars line was really interesting. Some of those action force toys are brilliantly designed!

Here this is the only pic I have from the event. I had my camera most of the day but was so wrapped up in everything that I only decided to use it in the dying stages of the day. I know of the other guys including Chris will hopefully have a load more photos.

Left to right: Duncan Jenkins, Gus Lopez, Myself, Bram, Grant.

Just got in (bloody long drive!)

Had a great day - massive thanks to Dave for organising it and as per all the other messages it was great to meet with Gus & Duncan - their presentation was fantastic and very informative - as was our very own Mr Chris - who would have thought that you could have bought those three packs ($6.99) for less than a minirig ($8.99)

Also thanks to Jez, Grant and Chris with their help on the stall (and for buying lots from me)

Was great to put some more names to faces - ODB and Lost Soul (also thanks for spending your hard earned)

Really looking forward to the next one and hopefully a few more of the lads can make it down for this

Speaking of the next one Dave it'd be very much appreciated if you could give as much notice as possible for work, trains etc.

Thanks
Richard

Extremely tired

Extremely grateful to everyone who came

Extremely grateful to Chris, James/ Mark from the Insider and Gus and Duncan

Extremely grateful to the team, Wayne, Carol, Cath, Dean and Chloe.

The second act for something that is turning into a great story, I hope more will come, biggest feedback from last one was hot food, more feedback welcome to make itbetter and better with the resources I have available :)

Dave

Didnt take that many photo's as I was having too much fun but took these few.

Also took the video camera with me but forgot to do any recording, sorry Ryan, will def do some filming next time.

I had to shoot off early sadly so I missed the last talk, but a good day nevertheless. I do tend to find that there isn't enough time to talk to everyone though.

Its never hard earned with me.

That's always the problem when you go to these events DrP. I always have the same problem too, especially if Iain's got a table selling MOC's!!!
