eBay seller sent me a repro

We have been in contact, with regards to the postage costs I paid £6.75, but it would of only cost £2.38, it was myhermes under 1kg and needed no signature. Now that Jon is a member on here I'm sure he will confirm this. I told Jon that I wasn't happy that the stated Royal Mail option was switched out for myhermes, my post office is a stones throw if I miss it so it's easy for me to retrieve it.

When I sell on eBay I charge about 50-80p more than the postage cost, as paypal and eBay both take a cut now, so that leaves a few pence for the packaging, most of the time I take a loss on the postage but I think that makes people more likely to bid as the postage is cheap. When we sell on here we don't charge for the packaging at all as we are all buds.

We have been speaking amicably, but I still disagree with the postage costing over £4 less than I paid.

That being said now that we are on speaking terms I would buy from Jon again.

Anyway kudos for joining up, listen to the guys on here and ask for advise and you will be ok from here on.

I'm happy to give Jon the benefit of the doubt and welcome him to the best Star Wars forum.

As i said, proof of the postage is easy to show but if it did not cost anywhere near the stated amount then money is owed to you. In my opinion.
 
By the way the Bow that came with the Lumat that Jon sold me is legit.
 
Welcome Jon and I can verify that Jon has done everything he can including offering me a full refund on EBay . Joining SWFUK community is also a very positive step. I do believe that it was an honest mistake ( I am posting out the R2D2 pop up with his saber tracked tomorrow) and I wish Jon best of luck with his future sales.

Bought a Blue Snagg from Jon a few days ago. Turned up this morning... with a repro weapon :( let him know straight away and he got back to me quickly with several options including a refund. I gave him some advice on repro identification as he has some spare weapons, but I haven't heard back. Hopefully he'll get back to me soon and this can be sorted out.
 
I'm going to have to add him to the ebay people to avoid list, he didn't respond to Pete's request to post a screenshot of the receipt he had from myhermes confirming that he did rip me off with postage and other people.

p.s I also gave him advice on how to sell Star Wars vintage and how to spot repro shite, looks like he doesn't care.

No- he said he had some more blasters and would test them. He also offered to send them all to me so I could take my pick, £5 refund or full refund if I send the Snagg back. Went with the least hassle option first.

Blue snag was listed before I had the problem with the R2.

I'm looking at my other pistols tonight for the snag...

I don't know how to refund Jas. I have given my mobile number to him through ebay email to ring me.

if anyone knows how to refund money 'held' in pay pal please do tell me.

PLEASE please bear with me. I've only managed to get on today (fathers day!) as everyone is asleep so i have a hour or so to kill...

Jas will get his refund, blue snag will be sorted.
 
Don't string if out anymore, open an eBay claim.

I'm going to open a claim for excess postage charges, as he decided to avoid Petes request to show a myhermes receipt.
 
Issuing a refund is not rocket science and there should be no excuses for not being able to process it :roll:
