Let us hope this mssive transition and new sequel is a real gift to the next generation! If they get to experience a fraction of the real magic our generation did when we first witnessed the original trilogy, they will be in for a real treat!!

Put it this way all the top directors who have been influenced by Star Wars (and that's a lot) will be queuing up to direct, especiallty without Lucas's shadow hanging over them.
I cannot believe Disney would spend all that money only for the films to be crap. Anything is better than the prequels. Just look how they've transformed the Marvel franchise. Disney isn't just about Mickey Mouse any more. It's one of the biggest Film studios.

20 years ago the old cast might have been ok but not now. Although I wouldn't rule out a cameo from one of them. Maybe they could film episode 3.5 were Vader realises episodes 1 to 3 were just a bad dream!
