the same here, I saw them as red ones, I have also never heard about orange ones before todayWell... , all I know is that I never noticed the sabres being orange.
nice, thanks I did not know thatThey are Facebook suggestions that keep popping up. Similar to the one pictured, there's probably a YouTube video discussing it,
I think Filoni simply skipped showing us the bacta tank - he knows fans know she would have been put in one and newcomers won't know so nothing is missed. Saves a bit of money to use on something else too.I really liked the 2 first episodes. But I miss that we did not saw Thrawn I also think it was strange that we did not see Sabine in a bacta tank and even more strange that the sith did not split her in 2 parts
In the coming episodes or maybe next season, then I am thinking what will disney do with Baylan Skoll if he do not die in the series, since sadly Ray Stevenson who play him passed away all to young
Also a little strange to see a new sith master and an apprentice from the empire. What were they before the fall of the empire. Since there is always only place for one master palpatine and one apprentice vader
I don't think Sabine was stabbed in the same place.I enjoyed both episodes, although I haven't watched the animated series
My youngest has, and the oldest is tempted to as a few of his friends have at 23, so he's not to old.
Only thing that I didn't like was Sabine recovering from the lightsaber stab, as mentioned above. It makes Qui -gon's death lame.
Bring on episode 3.
Filoni has a history of both killing off characters AND having them survive no matter what P)From the ads on Facebook, I don't think they are sith, hence an orange sabre and not red...
Dark jedi is the wording, but we shall see, as the episodes progress. I expect she will turn on her master in the end.
Have Disney ever said if he was due to be in a season 2, or his contract had ended after series 1, before his sudden death?Filoni has a history of both killing off characters AND having them survive no matter what P)
I think Shin will survive and shows us that there is a potential for her to switch sides. I don't think though that she will turn on Baylin. I have a few guesses on how it will go but would rather say this early on the very very slim chance one of them is close.
Baylin is a great character and I am looking forward to learning more. He hasn't shown anger or hatred towards anyone - he and Shin killed who they had to on the Republic cruiser and no one else. And he genuinely regrets the idea of killing a Jedi.
Don't think we have had a villain like that before and I am very glad that Stevenson got to be the actor playing him. I never understood why he wasn't a bigger deal in the industry after his breakthrough in ROME.
The show is a mini series ( or limited series as they say nowadays) like KENOBI is.Have Disney ever said if he was due to be in a season 2, or his contract had ended after series 1, before his sudden death?
As I've never read they rewrote an ending.
Oh so it is a mini series. I had hoped for more. That we see Thrawn, how he build his new army and the war begins against the new republic. That could have been a series of many seasonsThe show is a mini series ( or limited series as they say nowadays) like KENOBI is.
Up until a couple of weeks ago when I saw "limited" somewhere online I had been assuming it was intended as an ongoing series.
I don't doubt if it does well we will get more in the future but the suits already shelved RANGERS and the big crossover event series (which at least is going to be a movie) so I think it will be several years before another season.
Looks like he was stabbed in the bellyI don't think Sabine was stabbed in the same place.
I'm open to correction but screen grabs on Google seem to show the lightsaber blade higher and to the left (from Shin's point of view) I. Sabine.
I googled the death of Qui-Gon. I had always thought that Maul impales him through the stomach but apparently there are differing opinions on that.
maybe you are correct about thatI'm open to correction but screen grabs on Google seem to show the lightsaber blade higher and to the left (from Shin's point of view) I. Sabine.

Some people believe the stabbing was higher and that the damaged the heart, or the arteries (since the lightsaber cauterises the wounds it makes it would mean blood flow to Qui-Gon's heart stopped (which means death) and that the blade also went through his spine.
Some also include lung damage but that would have affected communication and he is able to talk just fine.
Heart or stomach though, that screen grab definitely shows the blade going through the spine.
I think Sabine was definitely stabbed in a different place.
I have no doubt though that one of Filoni's intention with Sabine getting stabbed like that was to cause exactly this kind of chatter. He is very mischievous when it comes to fans.
