I watched most of them - which one were you after ?

I was most after the Trilogo Barada, Trilogo hybrid White Bespin Security Guard and the Trilogo Tie Fighter Pilot miscard.

Not sure on Barada - possibly around the £80 mark - WBG went for £280 and the Tie Fighter miscard around the £600 mark

Just checked the completed listings on this. I won sod all with my cheapskate bids. Surprised at the signed stuff and the BBG.
As for the boxed palitoy stuff :shock:

I went to the auction and had planned on picking up quite a few pieces especially the Palitoy's and Miscards. I managed to snag a couple of pieces but then all the prices went crazy towards the end of the auction. There was some serious telephone bidding going on. I missed out on the Mecanno Luc miscard by about £80. In hindsight I wish I had gone higher but you have to set yourself a limit and I just didn't know where it was going to end. The Tri Logo Snow trooper on FX-7 card went for £800 (£992 incl commission and VAT). I personally wouldn't pay anywhere near that kind of money for a miscard. Other anomalies were the BBG and WBG Tri Logo Hybrids going for £260 each. Also a Tri Logo snowtrooper on AT-ST Driver card went for £200 and then an unsealed one went for £260. I was glad I went down there because I got the chance to check out the condition properly and gauge value and I can say that although I came back without many purchases and a lot of money still in my wallet at least I don't feel any regret. Most of the miscards had pretty bashed up bubbles that couldn't be seen from the photos alone.

Indeed, im not sure why - just the sight of a box of 48 seemed rediculous, so I nabbed them.

Quality - they do look fantastic

I have a shipping carton full of Jabba's and they do look pretty cool

I had a go at the Jabbas and YWings (and a few others) but the price of them were far crazier than the AST5s. Being a lot of small priced pieces it would be easier to shift them on. Atm not sure if I will keep them or try to use them towards a trade (and the box of Ewok Catapults).

I'm not entirely sure what exactly I bought at the auction - I'll just leave it and see what turns up, be a surprise then!

I would advise not splitting them up - I can only see them growing in value in the coming years

I seem to buy random things when I can't find what I'm looking for. Need to stop it as the funds are getting much lower - and ive still got most of the first 20 to get - and have to keep some by for that elusive VC Jawa.
