Most of the miscards had pretty bashed up bubbles that couldn't be seen from the photos alone.

I would say 90% of the miscard bubbles out there have some kind of defect, from yellowing and dents to nasty cracks, you really can't be too picky when you collect these things especially on some of the harder to find miscard combinations.

Having said that though, these three look to be some of the nicest I have seen:

Maybe Gary can confirm the condition! 8)

Well, as it is now all over it was me that got them and got that price through the roof!!

I was concerned by what I was going to find, but having had them handed to me at vectis I was pleasantly surprised at how good they looked. Compared to many of the miscards I have already they are certainly amongst the best conditioned ones I have.

I appreciate the price was high but I completed my years target, completed a very difficult Palitoy run, got 3 of my top 5 miscard wants and have got closer to completing another very tough Palitoy run.

So taking all that into consideration I am happy. 8)

My bank balance isn't however. :?

Very true Joe but there were some that weren't completely sealed so in my mind that makes them a little dubious as miscards. The unsealed Hoth Snowtrooper on AT-ST even went for more money than the sealed one. And the Tri logo hybrids really didn't look as nice as they did in the pics. The Snowtrooper on FX-7 was a real gem though. As was the Meccano Luc miscard.

I think Vectis could have been a little more forthcoming about condition / damage in their descriptions. I think unless you were there to see them in person or being very thorough with questions over the phone then it's a gamble.

Gary congrats on some nice pic ups and completing some more incredible collecting goals. I'm especially envious of the Snow trooper FX7. I would have bid on the Rebel Commando miscard too but i was  a bit unsettled by the bidding on the Snowtrooper Fx7 just before it and I couldn't collect my thoughts in time :)

I'd still like to know where the Meccano Luc miscard went to :)

I was a bit stunned by the Fx7/HST and I was on live bidding!!

luckily the other two came in under my absentee bid.

Don't think I could have coped with another round of bidding :?

I was surprised the slightly opened bubbles went so high. In fact there were some downright weird things

A vader and sandperson went for £80

a vader on his own when for £70 and and sandperson for £200!!

Condition was certainly an issue in this auction, but the two HST/ATST miscards were strange

I seem to buy random things when I can't find what I'm looking for. Need to stop it as the funds are getting much lower - and ive still got most of the first 20 to get - and have to keep some by for that elusive VC Jawa.

I know what you mean.

Nice miscards Gary

Fantastic buys Gary and glad they went to a collection where they belong alongside your other miscards.

Cheers. I need to unite them with the miscarded friends and take a group shot

There are a few that sort of make sense...sort of

Original han on Han bespin for example. Same Character, very similar clothing

Some are reasonable...AT AT commander on Imperial commander

But most are basically mental

My favourite being Biker scout on R5D4...WTF? There is no way I can even pretend to see any logic in that.

Anakin on Romba? That's pretty mad. But at least you could argue they appeared in the same film on the same planet...though that's pushing it beyond any real logic
