I am new here and don't want to come across as rude, your opinion is way off on this peice. This is my R5D4 and I have it listed on Rebelscum and Ebay presently. I have 6 offers already better than $1,100. People are entitled to their opinion and I respect that but to make comments about someone elses auctions/offerings in regards to price is just wrong. It has always been pretty simply for me that if I did not like a price I moved on to the next. Not comment on something that I do not have all the facts on.

Anyways I did not mean to sound rude, thatwas not my intentions. just wanted to point out that alot of people value this peice highly and even if I do not sell it I wanted to atleast show the collecting community such a rarity.

Sorry only just saw this reply. I'm glad you've had some good offers for it, and please don't take any offence from my comments. As said, just my personal opinion. Unlike RS we are happy for people to offer constructive advice on prices here. I'm sure you'll agree that the $1000 you've been offered is only a fraction of your original asking price of $5000 so I don't think my opinion is unfounded.

Slightly off topic, but although I appreciate that many of you are not fans of RS, please can you keep the bashing civilised as I don't want myself or anybody else that uses RS to be banned because of the opinions of others on here. I'm happy for you to voice your own opinions, that's fine, but please refrain from saying things along the lines of 'SWF hates RS and its mods' as that is not the case.

It is crazy that one can be banned for what others say by association. I will not say SWFUK as a whole hates RS, but a large group of us hold many of the same opinions about a handful of individuals on there, not actually the whole forum itself.

This was actually about the price and rarity of a carded figure.................it got slightly derailed as always.

Hey thanks for your response and I acknowledge that $5000 was way to high to start but when there is not a base point to even value a item that is so rare and you want to get offers, you do not want to cut your self short either. Rebelscum requires a price to be listed therefore that is what I did.

As far as the item goes I am in talks to sell the item for $1500 cash and $700 in MOC figures. And that is a far cry from $250. Its not final yet, but hopefully soon it will be. I will post the final deal once completed so there is a paper trail that if some else has a similar item there is a baseline for a asking price.

In closing, I enjoy both rebelscum and here and I am fine with debating a item in general toy talk, but not when it is for sale. These sites can influence transactions that are happening. I was asked when would it be ok to talk about the price. I answered " If I was to ask the question in open forum " What do you think a MOC ESB 31 back Survival Sticker offer should be be selling for?" That is when it should be debated. Not in people personal sales threads. Can you imagine what eBay would be like if they allowed comments on each auction. Think about that one? Once again, I mean no disrespect to anyone it is just a difference of opinion and I hope everyone realizes that.

It's a fair comment. If people are making negative remarks on your for sale thread then it's a bit out of order. None of us would like it. Saying that, I haven't actually read the original sales thread on RS. I can't, see. Because i'm banned ... Forever! :wink:
