Your holy grail

Nothing really. I would have really liked to own something from the Beeches shop sale simply because it would have been part of a legendary find. Alas the out of control bidding went waaaaaaaaaayyy beyond anything I would pay.

Finding some old stock vintage Star Wars in a shop no matter what it was turns me on. Personally i'm not arsed about these high end items. The astronomical cost puts me off for a start. It's as though if you have the money you can have anything you like. Where's the fun in that?

Well thats the thing about some of these "high end" items rather than "just another" 12 back set. Having the money doesn't necessarily enable you to buy them. Some of them just aren't for sale. Some of them can't even be found.

And whats wrong with a little bit of dreaming. Saying something's not your grail because the price is astronomical is a strange way to look at it. If someone said what is the grail car, would you say it was a Ferrari, Lamborghini or would it be a Fiat because they're more economical? :D

I'm just a bitter old school collector. The actual fun element in collecting is pretty much gone for me. Still love my own collection though :)

By the way - cars - it's a Mk2 Escort RS, and I have one. The market is the same in cars. Paid a mere £600 for that back in 2000. Someone offered me 3k for it only two days ago. It's not even a nice one! Crazy. But there you go

The first 6 figures I ever owed sealed on the cards and graded if possible + the Falcon that came with them one Xmas in the early 80s. At the min I have managed to get a Falcon unused in the box! (Think it's sealed)

Sealed , that's a rarity :D
Yes i know but I am not sure :?: I had pictures of it up on forum before and it is hard to tell it looks sealed to me. I have been looking at the tape on it and it looks original I hope :)
