i know some of you are lucky enough to still own you stuff from a kid ;but what did the rest of you do .
i sold all my star wars ,he man ,transformers and a team stuff on car boot and made about £100 pound for a coloured portable tv for my commodore 64 .seemed a great deal .............at the time .though had some great time on that c64

I gave my figures to my cousin & then my aunt sold them at a car boot sale for a £1 each!(inc Paploo,Lumat & Imperial Gunner)

My boxed vehicles could possibly still be in the loft of my old house even though i moved 14 years ago!

No idea what happened to mine. My Dad got rid of em at some point i think. I was always gutted and it's the main reason i got into collecting. Always regretted losing my collection. I had quite a lot of figs back then, especially from ROTJ which was my era. Plus i had a Fulcan and a AT ST.

I still have Boba Fett, a Snowtrooper & I found a Chief Chirpa hood in with my old Lego

Everything else went to bring-and-buy sales, car boots, etc :( :(

My white Tie Fighter went to the boot sale. The rest of my 20 or so figures (except Chewy and TFP) and my brothers Scout Walker were swapped for a DP Firebird Freestyler BMX 15 years ago. My mate still has the figures on display. When I got back into collecting I really regretted the swap, and I snapped the frame on the bike. My mate really regrets the swap too now as vintage BMX is big money - The frame and forks I snapped without any parts go for about £300 nowadays.

I'm one of the lucky ones who still have everything. My mother did want to give my SW away to my nephews at one time, but I told her no.

Gave mine away to the young lad next door to my parents, big pile of figures , i can definetaly remember luke stormy in there :x plus easy 40 others, falcon, at-st, snow base, speeder bike plus god knows what else. His dad brought round maybe a fivers worth of sweets the day after as a thank you..... god i hate him

Mine got put into a toy box and then left in the spare room so remained pretty much untouched till I got them out in the 90s and now they sit proudly on display. I still eagerly go through any old boxes my parents turf out in the vain hope of finding my missing Boba Fett and AT-ST driver which I've never found.

Sold all mine at a garage sale, all my Action Man stuff went too. With the cash I bought some brakes for my BMX and a racing helmet - what a waste :(

Luckily a couple of figures resurfaced during some gardening 20 years later :)

I was too young to own my own figures. My older brother had a few but not many . I Was born in 83 so missed all the films. I actually started collecting them when I was about 12. I used to watch the films over and over and my mum was an antiques dealer so she got me into it. I had pretty much a full loose collection by the age of 16. I'll dig out a picture of it. I found it the other day! :D

Still have all my stuff. I even have my first ever figure, 3PO. He's out on display (missing a hand)
The only fig I sold was my first Yak face when I needed the money a good few years ago... still miss him.

Still got it but my mother did throw out all my cardbacks and some vehicle boxes that id kept. Freud would have a field day with these pent up emotions

I dont think i will ever replace them with better versions, even handless C3-PO and jaundiced luke. :D

my family moved alot when i was a kid

and everytime we arrived at a new adress , i seemed to have less stuff :(

guess my parents gave them away behind my back or left them behind

man i used to have a sick gi joe collection aswell , well tech. i didnt call it a collection back then , lol but TOYS :D

My old dear gave all my collection away to a friend of hers for her son.Her son was a vindictive little ****er,and ive never forgiven my mum for giving them away :D or for giving them as a gift to that orrible lil bastard. She gave around 65 figures, around 14 ships and beasts and 3 12" figures away on that fateful day.If i had the chance i would swap my whole collection that i have now for all my original childhood toys, but that will never happen.Funnily enough i saw the lad who they were given to around 3-4 years back in a pub,and although i dont know him enough now to say he is still a little ****er-he still has the big gob  on him.

However,a few years back my mum and dad were away on holidays and i was looking after the house for them.I suddenly had the urge to try and find one last piece of my old collection in the loft before they had it boarded up,and hey ho i found my AT-AT chin gun bulb cover, and my Leia Boussh figure which just happened to be the last figure i ever opened on a christmas day :D

Like Chris I was too young to have them first time round (Born 1985) My mum was/is an antiques dealer, so i got dragged round car boots, flea markets and antique fairs. I was buying and selling old toys (Star Wars, Corgis, Dinky, Matchbox lesney etc) from about the age of 11. I managed to hold onto about 40 figures. Unearthed them recently but they are all beaters. Ive got my first ever figure though, a luke farmboy that had the original saber with the tip (It took about two days before I chewed it off!) I paid 50p for him!!!
