I love this thread so much. Should be required reading for anyone crying themselves to sleep at night on the premise that "collecting vintage is no longer affordable." Plenty of deals out there and cool stuff to collect on a budget - just gotta be willing to do some searching. Got this MOC for $40 (think that's like 6 quid ) this weekend - bubble is perfect and almost fully clear:

Well I've picked 2 Mocs up this last month under £50. First off from a local collector who even hand delivered this along with arcylic case for £45 my Tri logo c3po. A bit of crushing to the bubble and a little pin hole on bottom corner but well chuffed( the case is probably a tenner!) and then from FF the weekend from nick iow ( great to meet yeh geezer, top bloke !) this beauty ... A Jawa sw20 back. It's bubble is hanging on by one side sealed but displays super and come with the acrylic case as well so I was chuffed !
So 2 Mocs ( both with issues ) for £90
