Balls :( hopefully he asked before me otherwise I've been shafted :(

pretty certain you haven't been shafted as it wasn't up for sale. It's up to Richard who he sells it to whether you pm'd first or not.

Of course but if someone did enquire first is it not etiquette on here to offer it to that person first. Or at least inform them of an update. Either way ive missed another bargain again lol

Rob was first. The agreement was done before you posted.

It wasn't offered for public sale, it was sold between two long term collectors and friends for mates rates, on the open market a far higher price would have asked for and achieved, you've missed nothing, Richard did something good for the hobby by helping another collector and Rob got a bargain for his less than perfect MOC run.

EDIT- not to say there is anything wrong with his run but to say they are well loved cards :D

Fair enough. I see the pecking order on here. Newbies dont get offered anything or helped out on their own collections. I know who to buy from and not buy from. Thanks for the tip

Whoah, bloody hell. Rob was first. End of. I've been very busy lately and never saw this otherwise I would have nipped this in the bud. The deal was agreed before you posted your message hence why I posted it was sold. No forum, and I'd like to think me too, has done enough to help new people into the hobby. If you were the first to make it known to me (and pm is always better) then it would have been yours. I've just sold a shelf talker to a guy with 3 posts for the price I paid for it. Arranged to collect items from vectis for a guy with zero posts. Things like this feel like a right kick in the teeth.

Not in hand yet but bought this today, £45 posted

Ohhhh carl

a man after my own heart

Lovely piece!
Cheers Chris, I don't know what came over me, it's not even a KayBee sticker but I've not bought a beater for ages - just sold some loose figures to cover most of the cost

Yes mate, I sold a Trilogo as I've overspent and then this popped up so sold a few loose - I think I've got an addiction

Got to love the beaters, I have a number of them 2 of which are doubles, Klaatu and ERG and also a Madine card and bubble, I can't put pics up via Flikr at the moment. Can email pics if anyone is interested.

You may tempt me with the ERG mate, pop me an email and I'll see how the funds are or what I won't miss lol

Sorry guys just realised who alltooeasy is...

admin please delete the above if you wish.

Yeah it's just our resident drama queen. I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm glad it went to Rob! You've got nothing to worry about Rich, I think we all know you are a stand up guy that always goes the extra mile (or 200!) to help out a fellow collector.

Carry on posting your affordable MOC purchases guys :)

http://starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=30878 lets not derail this thread further though so no more replies about him or that other thread, just pics of cool figures for less than £50 :)

Aye aye cap'n.

This is a project I've been working on for about a year so it still counts. The full run of jabbas goons on jedi cards.

About half were from Iain and the rest from eBay and Toy fairs, all under 50 notes and an average price of just over £30.

Thanks ladds, unfortunately shipper wouldn't be eligible for this thread but I thought it was an appropriate prop for the photo. :)

I tracked down this Anakin Tri-Logo for $40 USD. Not bad considering these guys go loose for around $25.

Love this thread so much!

Picked this fella up for the focus on a buy it now from eBay - $50 well spent I think. It was around 6 months ago so was at pre-Brexit exchange rates meaning this cost around £35. Including postage it still came in below £50...

Wow that AT-AT Driver is a beautiful card! Shame about the coin sticker but I know some people collect them. might have to hunt one of those down, looks great on a Jedi card.
