Picked up this Jawa 12 back a few months ago for £45. Card is creased and the POP is ripped off, but still factory sealed. Printed off the lower left corner to fill in the gap and slid it into the case. Displays pretty darn good considering.

Good find

Looks a beaut 8)

Proper touch on this Jawa. Appreciating this thread more and more when I seen people "over the moon" with their $5k deal on Facebook.

Luke Hoth 8)

Greedo 8)

Jawa 8)

Just shows they are out there. Love this thread, just can't wait to pick something up myself :D

You need to think like a none collector when searching! This is how you find the bargains. They dont know the value or really care and is reflecting in there packaging :( . Do not use the word vintage in searches is my key advice :)

Yeah I have only bought a few MOC's from Facebook groups. Many of the MOC's up for sale on FB groups are what I would call overpriced yet people over there seem to lap them up & say "Yes please" or "I'll take it" nearly straightaway. In general the best value for money MOC's that come up for sale on the FB groups are from our very own Iain Sanderson.

The majority of the cheaper MOC's that come up for sale on the FB groups (between £30-£50) are what I would call "beater" MOC's so if you want to buy a decent conditioned MOC from there you will need to pay £50 onwards (even for the most common MOC's) unless you get lucky & find a reasonably priced good conditioned MOC which is not often.

There are some good deals to be had and you can get some decent conditioned Vintage Star Wars MOC's for less than £50 (just not very often from Facebook groups!). The majority of the best MOC's I have bought have been from fellow forum members and SWFUK is the best place to find quality MOC pieces and the most reasonable prices (even though I'm still waiting for more MOC's that I need to come up for sale on the forum :))

This is a Lando moc I picked up from ebay for £50. It is a re-seal, but I really wanted a ESB palitoy for my collection and so it fit the bill nicely.

The gun is still attached to the tape, but both have migrated to under his arm.

Good stuff. I'm all for reseals when they have Palitoy logos on them.

just picked this up on eBay for £50....cracked bubble but should still display nice. Just need to get a blaster for it as it's missing.

Yep, all's fair in love and eBay I'm afraid ;) but if anybody does ever really want something you think others may be bidding on, it doesn't hurt to drop them a message.
