And the first comment is a valuation request for a 12" Boba with missing accessories and a damaged box.. Must be the other half a mil right there...

Anyone following or bidding on the second part of the Vectis auction today...

I was looking at the posters (and they have a very cool printers zinc lithographic) but a word of caution on Lot 5307, which Vectis are describing as the "extremely rare" 1977 UK Hildebrandt. This isn't the UK poster it actually looks to me like the commercial shop-sold Factors poster which has been trimmed down to custom fit a frame. Think Vectis have got this one wrong.

I'm watching too, but mainly for the AF bits later as I'd like a few items to grace my homage to non Star Wars 80's toys.. probably won't pop though given the money being thrown around!

I'm no expert on the POTF ll line, and as it's modern it's probably not even worth commenting on, but the price of that prototype Vader..... 900 I think it was

Plus the numerous carded Fetts, think it's time to pack up when some of those are fetching £100+

I'm just watching. I bid on the miscard a couple of days ago but was outbid yesterday already. Can't see me outbidding anyone, although I'd love some of the Palitoys.

Do you mean the Death Star, Steve? If so, £240 hammer which is remarkably high given it was "unchecked for completeness" and there appeared to me some of the plastic parts missing.

The modern "prototypes" (test shots, surely?) were going for absolutely insane money. £500 for a Darth Maul?? Perhaps someone who knows what they're talking about can enlighten me on why they went for so much but I couldn't see anything different to those regularly offered here for less than £100.

Was very tempted with the Walrus Man Palitoy 20 back but I am on best behaviour. With a bit of tidying to do someone got a damned good MOC for £260 hammer.

Yes I did have a go at the wally , but then got cold feet !

For a one-off unique piece I thought the printer's plate thing for the screening of ROTJ went cheap at £560. Some of the prices achieved could make that sale of the year. Not to everyone's taste and hard to know what to do with it but a fascinating piece and rare survivor.

hi

wat did the 45b jawa palitoy moc go for,it says £100 on website ,is it mistake and was 1k

joey

Yep, £1,000 I think. May have been £900 but I seem to recall it breaking the grand.

Cracking Dengar 45a and Stormtrooper 41. Had a notion I may have been in luck and picked one or other up for a couple of hundred pounds
