4th Feb was his last sold Jawa at £199 although that one did have a hairline crack - perhaps I should just have left it at wait for a better one to turn up on Ebay.

the facebook auctions are crazy. A red scarf Luke Hoth sold for over £70, and a red haired Leia Hoth for over £40 - is that really their values? If so I'm selling mine for sure.

Thing is whenever I use the auctions my stuff sells for a fiver :lol: :roll:

The weaponless Rebel Commando listed recently for a crazy price recently on one of the groups, it didn't sell... so he didn't actually sell anything and therefore the price listed was meaningless... These things are the market value only if they sell afterall all, so crazy FB posts are just that unless some crazy douche bag turns out with a wallet to match the madness.

In fairness not a sniff, not even a like, it just beggars belief that he even thought those prices were right.
I suppose I just can't get used to the way the current market has developed and changed in the last three years. Bugger knows how the rest of you feel that knew what it was like pre resurgence of the hobby

We all post stupid prices so it's only fair to highlight a great bargain occasionally, this case with figures and accessories sold for $30 last night (including postage!) The case is probably worth that Nice to see beater figures at beater prices for a change, without a COO in sight :roll:

I am utterly disgusted to have just been shown a PM thread to my son, (from an admin on this group); which is full of expletives and culminates with my son being kicked off the group...
I have just re-read Chris's thread in full, and my son's messages were both courteous and reasoned; as far as I'm concerned - the only thing he did wrong, was to use a capital letter in the wrong place (a lot).
I find Echo Base ostentatious and you are clearly unwelcoming to newbies who do not share, (or who are not even aware of) your dogma and philosophy.
I suggest you people (and in particular the Admins), have a long hard look at yourselves and your community - there are some pretty forthright opinions on here - but you are just 12,000 people from a hobby that attracts millions. And when your admins leave posts on the board that contain swearing (including the 'C' word and the 'F' word), but throw someone out of the group for holding a differing opinion to your own - then in my opinion you have got a really big problem...
Finally, a note to Paul Desykes; slander is oral defamation - Echo Base is social media.

That's one group I've never joined.... Jabba's is good enough for me. However, I find most auctions on there seem to start at market price.... should be a rule that everything starts at £1.. let the community decide it's true value.
