This is why I don't get along with many of the new breed of collectors. It's more about how much money they can piss away and investing. It seems worse with American collectors, but then again I see it more and more on a few select UK fb pages.

"Superb Condition" FFS it's missing a wing, the cockpit glass and two guns

But... but... the electronics work !!

On a modern subject earlier some guy was asking £20+ above retail for the 40th Anniversary figures... as he had to walk around a city in the US to buy them !!
Got very close to a price bashing warning on that one until admin saw sense and deleted his posts...

I was not at Celebration but this is the best photo I have seen posted!!

Some tit's just put a boxed AT-AT on Yavin for £500!? 500! The worlds gone ******* mad. Mint walker (allegedly), fairly tatty box. These FB groups seriously need to have a word with themselves. People post things for twice what they're worth and everyone likes and applauds

Yup... and not being able to give friendly advise that it's too much in fear of the power happy mods whipping out the ban stick... instead you just get the "if you don't like the price, don't buy and move on !!"

I have no idea how much boxed items go for. I thought the AT-AT is about £120 loose... box? It won't sell if it is silly high

Is it a full moon? Not only a £500 At-At but also seen loose Yoda for £110, loose B-Wing pilot for £40 and black Endor blaster for £105. Nice Echo prices!
Or I'm suddenly way out of touch with prices.

The stupid people of the world have bid this up to £170 at auction with 12 hours to go

Not your fault mate, it's people fighting over stuff that is the problem. They may as well have waited for Toni to list another case fresh one for £200

Thing is carl, he sees this stuff just as everyone else does and he really will not do anything for this community so the days of him listing a case fresh meccano jawa or trilogo pop up r2 at his old prices are long gone.

4th Feb was his last sold Jawa at £199 although that one did have a hairline crack - perhaps I should just have left it at wait for a better one to turn up on Ebay.

the facebook auctions are crazy. A red scarf Luke Hoth sold for over £70, and a red haired Leia Hoth for over £40 - is that really their values? If so I'm selling mine for sure.

Thing is whenever I use the auctions my stuff sells for a fiver

Ended at £220 :o payment received. Money I wasn't expecting and has gone a long way to paying for my Harbert vader

Mental but fair play to you. I'm starting to think I should have auctioned all my stuff when I sold up

**** me! How things have changed. I remember I passed on one of these for £60 at Brighton Comicon in 2015

It always annoys me when people asks for an outrageous price for an item, and then has the audacity to ask the buyer to cover the PP fee!
