When it's another interest, I assume such arseyness was from 14-year-olds, then I remember that this is vintage toy collecting so we're probably talking about grown men.

I remember before FB really kicked off, EBAY was know as Fleabay and Evilbay on here. It's amazing that FB has made some of us defenders of it :lol:

I like how the fifty quid Snowtrooper chancer mentioned that with eBay being a minefield of repro, his price was a fair one. I'll take my chances.

Btw, in fairness to everyone else, nobody bought it at that price. I suppose it's the FB equivalent of the eBay buy-it-now that's going to sit there until the end of days. The main difference being that the FB way takes some gall because it requires your real name beside it. :lol:

In its defence I have nothing against the beater and weapon selling trade, it is the entry point to Star Wars collecting and we all did it once. Not everybody can afford MOCs or even some complete loose figures these days. It is also something I find enjoyable and satisfying personally. I am more against the people selling loose figures for carded prices or the people with more money than sense, Mr 3 grand for example.

There was a discussion about the daily price rise of figures and Kenboi was used as an example, one sold for £40 which sparked the debate, someone commented agreeing that he is a £25 figure but then continued to state that a mint one would probably be worth £35-£40 :roll:

You may have missed it as most of the thread got deleted, but I got some serious backlash for suggesting the collectors in Echo Base were mainly in to low end collecting. Thankfully, this member was ready to prove me wrong:
