I'm sure we've all bought things without research just not generally for thousands of pounds

I've just been told if people didn't buy weaponless loose figures the market would grind to a halt!!!! Imagine that.

In its defence I have nothing against the beater and weapon selling trade, it is the entry point to Star Wars collecting and we all did it once. Not everybody can afford MOCs or even some complete loose figures these days. It is also something I find enjoyable and satisfying personally. I am more against the people selling loose figures for carded prices or the people with more money than sense, Mr 3 grand for example.

based on his opening statement he could have said three pounds and he would still have had more money then sense

Apart from the outrageous price, notice anything else wrong with this "mint" Vader?

We need a facepalm emoticon on here!

Would it be "Super extra mint" if it had a full saber?????? :D

The words 'MINT' or 'RARE' are used on practically every description of Star Wars vintage when listing them for sale.

I think this quote sums FB up

There was a discussion about the daily price rise of figures and Kenboi was used as an example, one sold for £40 which sparked the debate, someone commented agreeing that he is a £25 figure but then continued to state that a mint one would probably be worth £35-£40

The thread seems to have been deleted, can only speculate as to why...........

Have never seen so many mint beaters before :|

This is fast becoming my favourite thread on here. It lets me know it's not just me who has a WFT moment without fail evey time I fire up Facebook.

Post over on EB regarding 100 grade figures and if anyone owns or has seen any..

Gave a genuine answer but then couldn't resist putting a picture up of my TT Creation.... couple of guys got the joke, but a few others didn't and by the looks of it, think it's real !!

Guess I'm heading for a banning over there now as even the mention of TT sends you to the noose..

Since when did loose Vinyl Cape Jawas go through the £1000 mark, let alone £1200 and since when was that priced to sell? I must have missed the memo.

Saw that and frowned

Must be the Zuckerberg tax added on top!!

You may have missed it as most of the thread got deleted, but I got some serious backlash for suggesting the collectors in Echo Base were mainly in to low end collecting. Thankfully, this member was ready to prove me wrong:

Watch out Gus Lopez, this guy has some loose production figures!
