Following on from Shane FS Post on RS I thought I would start a discussion thread as This line has always intrigued me from I first read about it on the SWCA?
Why is it so rare and so few items have appeared?
Did they release any Yoda DSD PD or R5 items?

Look forward to your responses.

Liam

I think its like many of these foreign lines Liam. Much smaller number would have been distributed through Peru and therefore fewer figures would carry their distribution stickers. As for what's out there in terms of character selection, Im not sure.

It would appear that they did release Yoda however:

New grail Liam???

It would appear that no MOC's have turned up so far and only a minute number of cardbacks.

Oops I saw your RS thread before this one Liam, Chris had you covered though!

I don't personally think we will see many more examples of cards with the Basa sticker on them, the distribution over there must have been minuscule compared to the rest of the world. Few thousand at best?

most toys from the basa line as rare as rocking horse shite - they also done a very nice line of mego figs including an exclusive KO six million dollar mego size man

cool 8) interesting link, ive never seen this line before! must we worth a fortune if one was ever to surface

I wonder how long it will be until somebody starts making Basa stickers

Never heard of them either, then again I just found out what "clipper" meant .

Whatever about different producers being worth more based On rarity, palitoy, harbert, toltoys etc.
But distributors , is that not stretching the difference ?
Is it just a case of same card and fig but with a distribution sticker slapped on it.

But as a variation it's a lot less different than a palitoy vs kenner deathstar?

First ever time seeing the Basa box for the large size Chewie...

Check this beauty out:
