Can't stay on cuz we are so busy, but we all made it into the live main stage. The sound and energy was utterly amazing.
First Goose Bumps, then edge of seat, then wonder and disbelief, delight, a tear. Then afterwards I felt a bit sick. Then they played it again. Same feelings.
Then me and Grant were un functional for about 4 minutes.
Perfect.
Great celebration.
Got to go. I've never seen so much vintage for sale!

I love the new Back/red TIE uniforms but that 'grin' on the Stormies looks wrong right now.

....Did like the lokk of the Snowtroopers though

I think they are hard to see those snowtroopers :? the stormies looks wrong with that smile, but I still can't wait to see that movie

I assume Abrams himself is deciding what to put in the trailer, all I can say is you can tell he was a fan like we were as a kid. All the little glimpses he's given away like him standing next to the new X-wing, the note on the Dejarik table and now these trailers. He knows what SW fans want in a sequel and as a fan himself knows why the prequels were so disappointing. It'll probably never have the same buzz as the OT but I'm enjoying the positive energy this film is getting as its ticking all the boxes for me so far. After we were all burned by the prequels its great to be looking forward to a SW film again!! Who'd have thought it - Disney and the guy who rebooted Star Trek making SW films likeable again!!! I'm going to be optimistic about it and I'm enjoying the substance so far.

One thing I noticed in the trailer was Luke handing over his BLUE sabre that he lost at Bespin to Leia. How did he get it back? Is it going down the road of his sabre/hand being found and a genetic clone being made as in the Zahn novels??? One of the things that stuck in my mind as a kid was him losing his Blue sabre and now that question will be answered!!

Loving it! The first Trailer left me cold and reminded me of Phantom Menace, but this is pure, old school Star Wars with a modern tweak. That Tie Fighter cockpit shot nailed it for me, familiar yet new. Officially excited now!

Hearing Luke's voice was spine tingling and the look of some of those Imperial soldiers was amazing and to end with Han and Chewie wow wow wow............. 6 months seems a long way off right now :|
