Too early to say but I think they'll have cameo roles in Episode 7, rather than being major characters. I mean it's great to see them all together again but they're getting old, unless we want to watch a retirement village film it needs some new blood :lol:

Could be cool if solo, chewie, leia, luke, c-3po and r2-d2 all are major characters just like in the old days and they will also be major in 8 and 9

But I also think we will see some new blood, some daufghters and sons :? maybe they all will be major 8)

One thing I noticed in the trailer was Luke handing over his BLUE sabre that he lost at Bespin to Leia. How did he get it back? Is it going down the road of his sabre/hand being found and a genetic clone being made as in the Zahn novels???

I reckon it is some kind of nod to the Thrawn Trilogy. As in 'the Last Command' Luke hands over that saber to Mara Jade. In the trailer Luke says "The Force is strong in my family.....my sister has it, you have that power too" so I don't reckon it's Leia he is handing it to...??

There are rumours that Mara Jade is in the movie but that the story won't follow the books story lines....

Really can't see Jade, Thrawn and definetly not C'Baoth in the new movie other than a cameo like Yak Face in Jedi.

Perhaps Sydow is a voice actor?

I reckon Leia and Han have had a child, who would be Luke' nephew. He/she given the bespin lightsaber by Leia and goes to track down Luke who's then gives it the Force is strong in my family chat to them and trains them.

Watched it twice by myself and then with my 3yr old who loved it and wanted to watch it again. Then waited until my 7yr old got home from school and he was super excited about it. Thrilled to see the look on his face while watching it. Very cool that he will get to experience a SW film made for his generation with a decent amount of nostalgia to satisfy mine.

Anyone else seen this, honestly thought this droid was CGI very cool to see they're going as far as to actually find the tech to make this little guy real, even if it looks a little clumsy.

I knew after seeing the first trailer the BB8 Droid was gonna rock.


He is cool and the kids are gonna love him.





There was a lot of negative comments after the first trailer but I see now after the second trailer everyone is back on board :lol:

To me it looks like luke handing over the saber :? It looks like a man hand to me.

About Solo and chewie saying we are home, it looks like it is on the falcon. Could it be because he had lost it and then we see they get it back ?

Also when do you guys think we will see that scene in the movie ? Could it not be tempting to see it at the beginning of the movie or at the end of the movie ? 8)
