Welcome to the forum

Have to agree with Emile that the U-graded stuff is not my cup of tea - good luck with your sales though

Without being disrespectful to the seller those loose graded vehicles look absolute ****ing tud..

The sealed ones look cracking though, good luck with sales 8)

I'm really not sure how to feel about graded boxed items. I love the box artwork and it's a really good way to stop any dust or damage getting to them but I feel I would always miss seeing the toy inside (if they're still sealed). In a funny sort of way I don't really mind the loose vehicles as it sure beats dusting them and means you could stack them for displaying. Maybe I'd need a case for each (box and vehicle/playset), and it probably wouldn't be sealed so that I could get to them if I needed to.

Not sure why I've written this but it's been on my mind for a while now after seeing a fair amount of unopened boxed items that have been AFA'd. No disrespect intended to anyone out there as I feel it's completely up to the individual how they want their collection to look.

All the best with the sale! :)

Ian

Some of these look really cool. Not sure about the prices. Don't get all the grading stuff. How does grading manage to double the price of items?

I have a loose Vader that smells of 77, stuff what anyone thinks to me he's graded 100 :!:

Don't get the grading for me, I know there needs to be benchmarks, for serious collectors, spending money, and understand its an investment, but for me it's about what I want, how much my budget is, after all it's for me not for anyone else

True to the bone.

These are not anything like U grading MOC wise, especially as UKG will not grade these anyway.

These are boxes that have been opened however the contents inside are unused, therefore classed as unused and displayed loose inside the acrylic. The boxes could wella have been an eyesore, so it'd nice to see them being displayed in all their glory, unbuilt.

I personally think the falcon looks cool displayed like that, just my 2 pence.

Well I know the U grading subject can be very polarising but there's no doubt that the Falcon looks bad ass.

Nah - looks like a **** microwave dinner.

The MF was meant for being played with. Stickers stuck in the wrong place, lost training ball, and broken struts.

There is no love in that thing.

Does anyone else feel like these u-grades etc are like caged animals that need to be released back into the wild?

Maybe we should start a preservation and conservation club and buy up things in old beater boxes to stop this from happening.

The boxed stuff looks lovely, however :)

If the MF was cheaper I would really think about freeing it :)

Oh don't get me wrong, locking the MF away in a plastic box for the rest of its life is sacralidge it's like keeping a beautiful exotic bird in a cage and never letting it out to fly. But I still think it looks fantastic.

Too clinical really, in box, or on display with box behind it, or MISB

What is the difference between a beaten box for a falcon being discarded then the ship displayed in a case, and a shabby MOC being stripped to be u graded

The same end result less and less boxed vehicles for collectors...so not for me I'm afraid
