Yeah, it looks rubbish. I've changed my mind. I'm gonna spend my money on some U grades Grant.
Who wants my 5 nights in the Hilton?

Have you got a flight yet jez? Has anyone uk based got a flight?

Im 95% that I'm now going to go to this but haven't got anything booked yet. None of the major airlines (virgin, delta, aa) are listing the flights yet so until I get those sorted I can't make a decision.

Looking at hotels now and they seem a bit dodgy. The Hilton is fully booked. There are a few around that might be ok. Have you guys all got your accommodation sorted?

No. The only thing you can book officially with on peak is a kiddies/family room at $189 a night at the Hyatt. On peak say if I want the Hilton, wait til March next year
and they may get some returns...

If you go for non official hotels there are rooms to get, but you have to pay up front for the discount. I guess it's good for americans to have reservations then they dont
need to commit until much later in the process. With Brits, we need to buy flights anyway, so i may just pay now on the accommodation and then pay for the flights.

I was just looking at what was available on booking.com. Seems to be a few hotels within a mile or so of the centre. It looks like between £250 - £400 for a room from wednesday to monday, not including 15% tax.

With the lack of flight availability its making it difficult to price the trip. Im looking at a budget of £600 for the flights and £300 for accom. I have a bit of wiggle room on that but I don't really want to sink too much into this. Im hoping Virgin and Delta flights will come available in the next couple of weeks. I can get 8% of virgin with work and 7% of Delta through the celebration website.

Oh man i want to go so badly, but i don't know if i will be able (read my wife won't understand how i can spend cash on that) to make the trip to the USA just for a Star Wars weekend.

Allready gutted...

Star Tots again! yippee :D This time based on The Empire Strikes Back

Love these and have a few Trilogo and Star Wars ones in my collection

Love the Cloud City Logo as the primary identifier and if the first 2 Boba Fett and Luke Hoth upside down 8) are anything to go by this set will be the best yet.

Few idea's of what characters I'd like to see

Han Hoth on a taun taun
C3PO (removable limbs) - in bits
Yoda - think this will be certainty
TFP - please
CCP
Lando Calrissian
Leia Bespin Gown
AT AT Driver - got a feeling this will be a certainty
Another Bounty Hunter - Bossk or IG88 (the others not bothered about)
Ugnaught
FX-7
Hoth Stormtrooper

I managed to get a deal through some work connections and got the Double Tree Hilton for me and Grant for the 5 days for £570 all in £285 each including taxes. Not the bargain of the decade but beggars can't be choosers.

I've been told that they will check out the best flights for me in 2-3 weeks as most airlines don't release flight details that far in advance.

I also have a reserve plan up my sleeve....
