I won this auction for what is supposedly a box flat, but in my opinion just a nice box.

Now the guy has sent me this message:

I am very sorry but I just got out the flat to pack it ready for shipping and unfortunately it has been water damaged from a leak in my study roof .We have had torrential rain here and my home has been affected.Please do not send payment.Sorry about this.

I was sceptical and this morning sent him this:

Could you send me a picture of the damage to the box so I can decide for myself whether I still want it or not?

Haven't heard from him yet, though I did receive an anullment request through ebay which I declined.

So what do you think?

No, you can neg him anytime. Only time you can't neg him is if he logs a non-payment claim against you and Ebay find in his favour
