Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Jawa.

No idea. You need to be less vague with your questions.

The figures are all different apart from 2-1b which I have an 85 and 90 rectangular bubble and a double stem of on Palitoy and single and double stem German.

Ok- no problem.

Are the bubbles on the TT cards that you have with no stem, the same size and shape?

There are 2 or 3 different ones which vary in width. Photos are all on the thread I posted, take a look.

man im confused with all this jason, theres just too much to take in and keep up with  so are you saying those vectis pictured ones with the 03 blisters the same as you say toni uses on all his are 1 million % fine allthough they have suss 03 blisters, and just on the evidence of them having the same stickers and residue as the other moc there with dfrnt numbered bubbles ? if neither of them o3 blistered ones had the residue or white stickers top left they could easy be TT

No idea what point you are trying to make here.

The vectis auctions I highlighted are almost all for esb 45b cards that Toni has no used cardbacks for, so how could he have faked them?
The majority also use bubbles he had no supply of so again, how could he have faked them?
There is a TFP with a 13 bubble, but that is the correct bubble number for that figure. Tonis fake uses 03, the only bubble he had access to as far as we know.
The cards all show signs of price sticker residue, Tonis MOCs dont have price stickers on them.
The bubble numbers on the figures matched panasturs list, so the correct bubble numbers for each figure had been used.
The figures were sold at vectis auction in 2006.
Almost all of vectis auctions are from childhood collections etc that can't be Toni contaminated.

What is the problem here?

cheers Jason

theres no problem at all jason ? especially now i know these were sold away back in 2006 i just presumed it was very recent these were all sold as all you said in your post you had just found them which i took as they were on sale now or had just been sold ,i had no idea you could goto vectis and see old auctions  and i was only talking about the 2 vectis moc with the 03 bubbles not all of them

Ok, no problem. Vectis have photos back and front of all their stuff going back for 10 years, it's relatively Toni free and it's easily searchable so I use
it to look for sample figure/card combos I'm looking for in the investigation/improving my cardback guide.

and as i said before theres little or no way vectis can tell if any collection is from childhood or not ,its not something anyone can really prove .vectis just sell what they believe to be kosha no matter where it came from i think

i might go have a look see at this vectis place. i havent before mostly just due to word of mouth saying the prices are massively overflated.
but like your saying if you can look back 10 years ,there could be some sweet/ interesting pics too look at 8)

Guys someone posted a video on here from1983 at the Palitoy factory about SW toys. The tv reporter interviewed a Palitoy manager who looked like he was in his early 30s and his name was given. He would be early 60s now. Could this guy help us ?

I have a few cardbacks that may fit into the TT scandal and have taken pics so that the experts can have a look. They may be of no use whatsoever :? Some have black marker touch up, sticker residue, shop price tags, sliced bubbles still attached, pink blob next to Chewbacca, possible heat press stress on the back, imprints of bubble types where they have been removed.

I might have some more but was unsure how to identify GM ESB? I could just post a group shot of all my Palitoy cards from ESB and ROTJ that are not in this first batch and if you need any close ups I can provide them. Likewise if you require any more pics of the ones in this link just ask.

Each back should follow on from its front and I cant verify where any have come from other than ebay or the forum.

Your link seems to shut my browser down, any thoughts?

That's annoying, just tried it myself and it works. I used imageshack as an alternative to photobucket which has been giving me hell this last week. It seems as though photobucket is running again so I'll post a link through it later :)

Link to cardbacks viewable on Photobucket, the upload wasn't smooth so I have stated which cards are which when viewing the backs.

Cheers
