Question about original trilogy. Might be a stupid one.

I have these which contain both copies of origional release and 1997 special edition.

I've got a recording from Christmas 1984 (complete with adverts)
Recorded at my Nan's back in the day. It got watched a lot!

I recorded the ITV premier but cut the ads out doh!!!

Fairly sure I have both ANH and ROTJ on video complete with the ads from the mid/late 80s at christmas I think. The tapes are pretty low quality as I watched them to death.

Yeap, i think I have all three on VHS. I definitely have ANH, complete with ads. No idea if it's the original first screening but from memory it was a Xmas screening from the early to mid 80's. I dare say the ads are probably a bit different to those the rest of you got, good old UTV.

These are the ones I have. Also have the new fangled ****ed up blu-ray edition which is pure shite. To be honest I only bought the blu-ray for the extras but they aren't really worth it.

I hate to say it but these are factory sealed. I got the special edition at the same time and watched them instead. Now only watch the Blue Ray version. I am tempted to crack them open and watch them I have to admit.

One day we will agree on something about the films x-pack. :lol:

When the new one comes out I'm going to wait to see what you think about it, just so I can disagree. :lol: :lol:
