After searching for a Tri Logo Lando Skiff for ages I agreed to pay £65 delivered from a uk Ebayer with 100% feedback.
I don't usually get involved in direct transactions but the card seemed ok and the feedback was 100% So I thought it's ok as he will save a bit on fees and I get the card I want
The card appeared today Very badly damaged. It had been shipped in a brown envelope, it had zero bubble wrap, it was torn in the corner and the bubble is now screwed and there card has more creasing than you would like...
So without getting the needle too much I contacted the seller by eBay messaging, reported the problem and asked him to file the compensation claim...
Within seconds I got the following reply "Hi Mate.
Sorry to hear that but it was fully bubble wrapped and protected when sent as you will be aware. I've double checked and it's yourself that need to make a claim mate"
Now I was furious. There was no sodding bubble wrap not was the card protected in anyway". Thank fully I took pictures and sent these immediately in reply...and guess what no quick response this time.
Now the real issue here is that by helping someone I have screwed myself as I should have sent the PayPal via Goods and services not gift ( and as we all know we should never send gifts )
I have filed a claim with Royal Mail myself. But in a way the bubble being crushed and they card bent seems like the fault of the sender !
Hope this experience helps others avoid having to deal with this crap and frankly Arseholes !
