Proof that some people just don't care ! Bloody Ebay

I've actually just run into the stupid mailing practice myself recently.

I'm helping out a fellow collector over there in the UK with a boxed AT-AT the seller wouldn't ship overseas, and when I got it, it was simply wrapped in brown paper. Thankfully no serious damage I can see, but that's not the worst. He filled the box with peanuts, then TAPED THE ****ING BOX CLOSED.

Thankfully, the end buyer is very gracious and understanding, but it baffles me that people willingly ship items with no regard to protection.

Now this ^^^ is f--king ridiculous... Never underestimate stupidity...

Didn't somebody else on here a while ago out a thread up saying the seller had literally taped the address onto the vintage box, no outer packaging. Think it might have been Capetown.

He probably would have only been charged £3 for final value fees (if he used the recent ebay FV offer) so that's a terrible waste of a good MOC for barely the price of a pint. I'd definitely stick him on the sellers to avoid thread.

Sorry mate to see that kind of packing, many years ago I got a package with the same packing. Lucky me it was moc of 90s star wars stuff and not vintage but I had 10 moc damaged

I hope you get all your money back + seller should pay for the mail back from you to him. If I was you I would ask for the money to mail it back.

Who the **** is that bad seller so we know who not to buy from ?

You will easily get your money back. Fairly recently I had no option but to refund a buyer who claimed a model Christine car I sold them was damaged. Utter bollocks. But eBay will refund the buyer anyway whether the seller likes it or not.

Send it back and log a claim with eBay. The seller may piss you about at first but they have so long to refund before eBay do it anyway.

So. Now Royal Mail want the original postal receipts ( as I expected they would ) and given the eBay seller has not responded I have about zero chance of sorting this situation out.

So I popped on eBay to message the seller Buzziebodies...

And what does he have listed for £60 ? The figure he sold me last week .... Yeah the Lando Skiff Tri Logo ! The same one.

What the clucking bell is going on here ? This fella has 400+'positive feedback too ? So weird

This has got nothing to do with Royal Mail, why should they cough up because some idiot sent it in an envelope? This is 100% the sellers fault.

The deal was done outside of eBay and the payment was gifted mate (as I'm sure alot of us have done) think unless the seller has a conscience/change of heart he might struggle on this one.

Looking at the pictures its defo the same card, I would say he's hoping to sell it to someone else and then give you the money they pay for it? That said its difficult to second guess a moron.

Judging by the sellers handwriting he looks sub-normal. Still doing a deal outside of eBay and then sending the money to them as a gift is just asking for trouble. Notice how even though packaging was non-existent he still sent it signed for so you couldn't claim non-delivery.

Put a claim in with paypal and send it back with tracking - that's your best hope.
