I recommend you give it a quick watch. It really is shocking. Also my club (Alfreton Town) feature too

The fans are protesting live on BT Sport tomorrow night.

You gotta wonder what made him think announcing that would be a good idea? Obviously the fans want to know the players are playing for the chance of a ****ing hiding!
They should scrap the naff internationals (England anyway) it gets in the way of domestic football.Dark Sith Lord said:What a great weekend for the home nations and in particular Northern Ireland now top of their group. Tough looking trips to Greece and Romania coming up!
Yer it's inevitable that Rooney will break Bobby's record - I just hope he doesn't break the prem highest goal scoring record although he still needs over a 100 more goalsBoba Skinner said:Great results for home nations but have to agree with KingShearer here, I watched a dull match against San Marino Thursday and no doubt will sit through another dreary qualifier tonight, really think it's time they have preliminary qualifiers for these smaller nations as they are a pure waste of time for the larger nations.
Also getting fed up we hearing Wayne Rooney is going to break Bobby Charltons goal record, it's inevitable he will but it pisses me off. Seven of his 43 goals have now come against San Marino, and many many more have come against the smaller nations. Bobby Charltons never played against these smaller nations, all his goals came against decent international sides. Just irritates me he'll become the all time scorer with goals against Armenia, Estonia etc.
I could bloody get into that San Marino side if I had roots connected to there, so his goals against them are meaningless and pointless, total joke.

Yes I agree too that the smaller nations should have to enter a pre qualifing competition to qualify for the real thing!

So ehhh Spain suffer their first qualifying defeat in eight years, since Norn Iron beat them, and now we deserve to be in the retard qualifying competition? Lol
I take your point, but the question is where do you draw the line?
Who do you send into retard qualifying? Do you do it so you end up with four or five teams fighting it out in each group? If there is a retard qualifying what odds on "big" players from small nations being "injured" every time their country has a game. Lets face it retard qualifying will stuck at some time when no one will be interested in playing, or when the "big" teams all have important games.
Personally, i think it would make more sense to move ALL qualifiers to the end of the season. Have them all in May or June of the summer between tournaments and that way you don't have the season disrupted by stupid friendlies and the groups could be played out over 2 or 3 weeks. Play Sat, midweek, sorted. The fact their wont be meaningless friendlies and constant breaks throughout the season mean the season itself can end earlier (or start later) so you don't get players and managers gurning about burn out. Though they'd have more of a case if they didn't drag players off all over the world during pre season.
Ps, the way England are going under uncle Woy, they'll be a middle ranking side in no time.

I see your point. Not long ago someone came up with a good suggestion, they put the top 32 European sides into the main qualifiers then the other 21 European nations (the lowest in the FIFA rankings at the time) play in their own qualifying campaign made more into a tournament, then the winner of this tournament wins a place in either word cup or european championships via winning the tournament. It means these lower nations like Luxembourg, Estonia, Armenia etc are able to win matches, have a reasonable chance of winning a comp plus also get a crack at qualifying for a major comp which is something they would never get a chance to do. By winning this tournament they would amount up more FIFA ranking points pushing them into the top 32 European sides hence meaning they then go into qualifying with the better sides getting their shot to mix it with stronger nations. With the chance to winning a trophy players wouldn't pull out, but do San Marino, Faroe Islands, Moldova etc have stars that pull out of their squads?
