edd_jedi said:All I think it highlights is how lazy and unambitious PL footballers have become due to the ridiculous money they get paid. These lower league teams and players really benefit from the extra cash, and it shows in their game. Seriously I would rather Roy put out a team of non-leaguers for England, there's nothing less inspiring than watching a bunch of B-grade PL players try and pretend they give a ****.

weasel said:Not sure what to make of the latest FAC draw. The last one I assumed was full of gimme games for the big sides and ehhh, that didn't quite work out.
theforceuk said:Yeah I don't fancy Sheffield United away, prefer Preston I think. Three away draws now.

I know mate! What happened to that time when we ALWAYS used to draw a Premier League side. Think the players find it hard to get themselves up for these sorts of games. We have nothing to win and everything to lose.
weasel said:About time Utd got some hard draws. They have a reputation/history for getting easy draws, particularly in CL groups.

Although, that is countered by the fact that in those days the Champions League was only open to actual champions, not teams who may have finished 5th (Liverpool and Real Madrid, both once).
