Watch Man Utd beat City on Saturday, its so frustrating.

I'd put money on it. Par for the course with this Utd side and OGS.

OGS is lucky to still have his job and I think without his history at the club he would be gone.

That's the ONLY reason he got the job in the first place.
Take Cardiff down and sit mid-table in the Norwegian PL, hardly screams "Man U standard Manager."

I did say when he took over wait until the end of the season to give him the job full time as there was no advantage in my view in giving him the job until May when the board could assess the entire season. But we beat PSG, ridiculously lucky penalty to go through, we should have lost and they gave him the job. The rest is history! lol

City get a nice cushy CL draw. Not often they get an easy cup draw

Utd could be in trouble in that group. Is it too early to make them favourites for the EL? Lol. What's worse, they have PSG, so I will be forced to cheer for Utd TWICE this season. I feel dirty. The last time, before Utd's win/robbery in Paris, was the '92 CWC final. I was hoping it would be another (near) 30yrs before I had to lower myself to those levels again.

A few of the CL groups look like they could be remotely close this year. Not A (Bayern&Atleti) and G (Juve&Barca) tho. Group B could finish in any order, Real are turd. Group C is a case of who finishes behind City. Group D is 2 from 3, though you would fancy Pool to be one of them. Group E should be straight forward enough. Group F is probably Dortmund and ehh Zenith, just.

I was pretty much spot on with that, bar the runner up in Group F

Yup, that result was actually a bad one for Utd. Assuming they would have appointed someone competent instead of giving him the job.

Man Utd favourites for the Europa League then! lol

Probably Spurs for me. Though Jose has Utd as one of the favourites so he's started his mind games already.

TBH, I would struggle to name many sides in the EL, beyond guessing the names of a few lesser European clubs, and those who were in Celtic's group.

I had a look last night Ajax, AC Milan, Benfica as well as Spurs and Arsenal are the tuff ones!!! Ajax haven't been a big club for 25 years! Seville aren't in it and Inter Milan are out of Europe, that's what happens when you buy loads of Man Utd players that are past there best.

It's harder to win the league cup than the Europa League.

Yeah, Ajax, (who are okay actually, they were in Pool's CL group), AC and the usual handful of English sides, are about the only ones you would worry about. Shaktar and RB Salzburg could be tricky.
Roma, Leverkusen, Napoli, Villareal, and Hoffenheim about the only other ones that should cause any issue. Quite a few of the teams in it will be very beatable playing your second string.

It was funny that today Spurs had three or four great chances to score, and the one that actually went in was straight at the keeper! A draw isn't a bad result but if not for some super hero goal keeping it could have been a very different result.

I only saw the last half hour of the Spurs game but it looked like they sat back and tried to play the game out and Palace got a deserved (from what I saw) point. I'm back to asking why Jose insists on sitting deep against weaker sides. I get it in big games but against Palace and the shambles that is Arsenal ATM!?

Piss poor by Pool. That first half could have been 2 or 3. Fulham had a great shout for a pen. From 1 angle it looks stone wall, from the other it looks like Fabinho gets the ball first. Fair play to the ref for jot changing his mind when VAR called him over to the monitor. Is that a VAR decision going for Pool, or just one that didn't go against them!? I'll take it either way. Especially as the injury jinx is back. Keita crocked, Jots out for 6-8 weeks and then Matip subbed at HT with a back issue.
We must be fast approaching the point where Pool have had more injuries than every other club combined. Joking, obviously. But the list of injuries they have had is ridiculous.

I bet Harry Kane and Son are shitting themselves about facing a CB partnership of......Henderson and Fabinho

On that note, for the sake of that game, and there being ANY entertainment in it (I spurs fan don't care a bout that as long as they win) I just hope Spurs don't score first.
Though Jose will probably have them set up not to lose first and foremost anyway.

Ohh and that Manchester derby was as bad a game as I have seen.
Also, I know he was offside and it wasn't a pen, but is that contact on Rashford REALLY enough for a penalty!? Contact DOES NOT EQUAL A FOUL. IT'S A ****ING CONTACT SPORT.
Decisions like that (and the Salah one against WH, the Brighton stoppage time pen against Pool and the disallowed Everton second pen against Chelsea) are a nonsense. Those are not fouls.

In our defence you're right about the bit of the game you watched, but the first half was much better, even after the first goal. For some reason Spurs just sat back a bit too much during that period and the equalisier was coming for a while. I still think we were unlucky not to win it, some unreal saves by the Palace keeper. Still, the Liverpool draw makes this weeks meeting a bit more interesting, too early to be a title decider but it could certainly give us a glimpse of what's to come (OK I'd be happy with a parked bus and 0-0 draw  )

If I was a betting man I would put money on a draw. Certainly less than 2.5 goals looks a screaming cert.

I see Liverpool have another injury as well, our new unpronounceable Greek back up LB is out for a few months. Vvd, Gomez, Matip, Greek fella, Thiago, Milner, Keita (for a 3rd, or is it 4th time), Shakira, and Jota. That's a blood good team all injured at the minute.
Nice to see Oxelaide chamberlain back, I do rate him but when you get two players (Allison as well) back and still manage to have an injury list grow you know something ain't right.

Yeah, that was bad. It's always like that when you are struggling, a player does something daft and your striker who cant buy a goal taps one in.....your net. Without jinxing it, I don't think things can get much worse for Arsenal. Their next 4 games are horrible though, Saints, Everton, City, Chelsea. Get through that and then rebuild in Jan. There is so much deadwood in that Arsenal squad. Like Utd they have suffered from an owner who bleeds them dry, and some piss poor purchases. Pepe has never looked a £20m player never mind worth two Mo Salah's. Arteta has his work cut out. He needs to buy an entire new team, and sell what he has. Problem is a lot of those boys are on big money and no one else is gonna pay them that. Plus Arsenal don't have the big budget of Chelsea, City, Utd.

If anyone is on twitter the clips of the guys in the studio at Arsenal fan TV watching/reacting to the game are funny. Sorry Arsenal fans, not laughing at you, just laughing at them. Whoever the bald one is he looks like a proper psycho.

CL draw coming up at 11 (well, prob half 12 by the time they get round to it). Anyone but Atletico for Pool please. Barca are a shambles, but Messi is well, Messi. Monchengkadbach look beatable. Lazio looked piss poor defensively. Porto, you would fancy any English side to beat, Leipzig and Sevilla could both be tricky but if you have any serious ambitions of winning the CL they are the kind of sides you should be able to beat. Atalanta are the same, but Pool can't have them again.

As for the EL, all the English sides should beat whoever they get, assuming they take it seriously. Rangers are more of an unknown entity. Probably a team no one wants to draw.

That Europa League draw is right stitch up for Man Utd, probably the hardest team that any of the English clubs have been drawn including the champions league teams! lol

Yes I think Liverpool will be pretty happy with their CL draw, on the other hand Chelsea might be in trouble!

Yeah Man City will be happy, all the English teams in the Europa League have got tricky games.

Arguable. But it's definitely not a gimme. I would rather face Sociedad than Atleti. A lot more know how at Atleti. Given how jackal and hyde Utd are.....

Yeah, could have been better, could have been worse. Chelsea got the short straw for sure. Cushy draw for City, unusual that. Though I guess they have had some stinkers in CL, unlike in every single domestic cup for the last 6 yrs.

Bilic sacked by WBA. Fat Sam, Mark Hughes, Nigel Pearson and Eddie Howe are the favourites to replace him.
Bar Eddie Howe that's about as uninspiring a list as you get. Why not add Pardew or Redknapp to it!? Martin O'Neil is free. Ditto Roy Keane!

ANYONE but Fat Sam though. We don't need his smug face and 1980's football back in the PL.

Ohh and Jose to park two buses tonight, have 15% possession, zero shots, and win 1-0.
It just has the feel of a Spurs victory about it. Especially given how much I despise Jose and his brand of football.

Good to see he was back to his usual cunty self yesterday with his "VVD is Liverpool's only 'big' injury" BS.
Yeah Jose, that's right. As long as you ignore the fact that every single ****ing club in the world plays with at least two CB's and last time I checked VVD was only one man. The fact that both of his potential partners are injured is obviously irrelevant. That Thiago bloke is hardly worthy a place in Pool's best eleven either, I mean where did he even come from? Some shity wee German side. Bayern-something!? What have they ever won!? And Jota was pure squad filler before he got injured. He's definitely not a 'big' loss either. You're right Pool really only have 1 injury. I dunno why they are gurning at all. Wanker.
