PL 2017-2018 Thread

Tricky FAC draw for Spuds. Obviously everyone wanted Saints. Not sure who would be harder for Spurs, Utd or Chelsea. The latter must be favourites to win it now.

Even if Spurs beat Utd in the semi they will lose to Chelsea in the final, it's just how we roll

Bloody tricky semi final that is for Man Utd, Spurs away! I think Chelsea will do it now. That said it could easily be any of the big three left. Funny how all of a sudden Wembley is an advantaged for Spurs, they won't want to move now.

Still, It's in London so it's handy for all Utd's fans, they can probably walk to the game!

Despite being a lifelong Spurs fan, I'm actually very optimistic about this season's FA Cup. Utd and Chelski have both shown themselves to be less than invincible this season, and Spurs (despite the lapse against Juventus, where yes they certainly made their own problems, were also at least a little unlucky) are on a run of good form. I think Spurs have their best chance in 20 years to win the FA Cup, and personally I think they will... Famous last words, perhaps!

What's that say about people who live in London! And in all fairness we have won more trophies in London than most the teams that are based in London, it must have been hard watching football if you lived in London last century. I'm joking. 8)

I saw that.

Even Danny Wellbeck and Deli Ali would be embarrased by that. Actually, hold on.......

I thought England were alright last night, admittedly against a very average Italian side and without Harry Kane. I'm optimistic with the group were in and the fact were playing Belgium last, should get out of the group and perhaps a bit further. Still light years behind Spain and Germany, although you never know, this England team has zero expectations.

I watched the last 20 minutes of the Spain v Argentina game and that was a joke. Argentina would make West Broms defending look good. About 3 players should have been sent off in the 20 minutes I watched.

Another classic Spurs performance. Did they even have a debrief after the Juventus defeat? Same old ****. A draw would do nicely, but no let's play gung-ho and not bother defending. Completely avoidable goal, Poch just seems incapable of learning his lesson. It's not hard to frustrate teams by defending and counter attack when possible which is exactly what Chelsea are doing, teams lower down the table make a career of it, sure it's not pretty but sometimes it is necessary. Instead they jeopardise 4th place with more carelessness. Not looking forward to the second half.

Would you like to do an update Edd?
Still 23 minutes to go so still time to implode I supose!

Right you're 3-1 up, 20 minutes left, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD stick some players behind the ball and cruise the rest of the game! :|

Never going to happen, that would be the sensible thing to do...

Finally a mature performance in the end, that's what we've been missing. A few more of those and the drought could come to an end.
