I realise this is likely to end up one of those tumbleweed posts but i thought i'd give it a shot...
Just thought i'd see if anyone here would be interested in playing my predictions league which i've been running for 5 years now.
It's a very simple game all run by email.
Each week you are sent the Premier league fixtures. Like this-
August 13th
Spurs - Everton
Man Utd - Wigan
Aston Villa - Liverpool
Arsenal - Chelsea
Norwich - Bolton
...
etc
You then fill in your 'picks' and email them back. Like this-
August 13th
Spurs 2-0 Everton
Man Utd 3-0 Wigan
Aston Villa 1-1 Liverpool
Arsenal 3-2 Chelsea
Norwich 0-1 Bolton
...
etc
You will earn 1 point for a correct pick. ie, if spurs won 4-o and you had 2-0, you get one point.
And you get 3 points for an exact score. ie, if you picked 3-0 Man U and the score finished 3-0.
Every week or 2 the league administrators (Me and 1 other guy) collect and tally all scores and compile and send out a league showing positions and points etc. Like this -
It costs £25 to play, every penny of which will be prize money awarded to the top 2 or 3 players at the end of the season. (depending on the amount of runners 3rd may not win a prize but usually does.).
It's an awesome and very addictive game and takes no more effort than paying your 25 quid and getting your emails in before kick-off each week. Usually a lot of runners in the league don't know each other so this is not an issue. The league has had 24 runners at it's peak and 11 runner at it's smallest.
