Super catalogue, Jason. Nice to know that your efforts in recycling tatty old bits of card pays off :D

As an aside, that last page caught my attention. I've recently bought a board game off eBay that appears to be the forerunner of "Destroy Death Star" and is identical in almost every respect. It's called "Salvo!" and dates from the early 1970s and was manufactured by Palitoy. Great game but quite complex. A link to it is here:

Added the Diamond Jubilee Retail Sales Division catalogue. Had the Price List for this for a number of years. Great to finally get the catalogue too!

Another catalogue for the collection, this is the one for 1982.

Tabs on the left for each section. The section cover features the AT-AT.

The next page features the SW figures along with the new figures released for ESB.

Next up is the Taun Taun, Wampa and Imperial Attack Base.

New and old mini rigs on this page. INT-2 and CAP-4 are added to the existing PDT-8, MLC-3 and MTV-7.

SW spaceships X-Wing Fighter and Darth Vaders TIE Fighter on this page.

AT-AT gets a whole page to itself.

Imperial Troop Transporter and Slave-1 on this page.

Star Destroyer Playset gets its own page.

Next up is the Dagobah Action Playset and Snowspeeder.

The Millenium Falcon gets its own page.

Last in the Star Wars section are 3 new diecasts. Twin-Pod, Snowspeeder and Slave-1 are added to the range.

Last up in the PlayDoh section is the ESB Star Wars PlayDoh set.

Great stuff Jason, it's interesting to see that whilst the catalogue is from 1982, small head Han is shown in the falcons cockpit. Do you think this was just a stock photo from earlier on or could he be out there on later cardbacks!

Last of the Diamond Jubilee catalogues thanks to Laurence Dyer.

This is the General Sales Division catalogue.

The first page featuring Star Wars has one of the pictures from Star Wars Playnts Painting set that came with 4 pots of non-spill Playnts paints.

The second page featuring Star Wars has the Star 3-D Poster Art set. It came with coloured pens to colour in various scenes. It also had a 3D Darth Vader mask.

The third page featuring Star Wars is the photograph for the Toys section, which has a Stormtrooper mask and the Star Wars Blaster Pistol and Laser Rifle on it.

The fourth page featuring Star Wars has the Star Wars masks on them in a shop display retail box. There were 5 of these masks; Darth Vader, C3PO, Stormtrooper, Sand People and Chewbacca. This page also features the Star Wars Blaster Pistol also known as Han's Blaster and the 3 position Star Wars Laser Rifle used by Stormtroopers.

The fifth page featuring Star Wars is the photograph for the Talking Toys section, with the Talking R2-D2 on it.

The sixth page featuring Star Wars is the Talking R2-D2 which featured 4 different phrases.

The seventh page featuring Star Wars is the photograph for the Games section, which has the Adventures of R2-D2 board game on it.

The eighth page featuring Star Wars is the Adventures of R2-D2 board game. This game came with 4 playing pieces and a spinner to move the pieces around the board.

The ninth and final page featuring Star Wars is the Escape from the Death Star board game. This game also featured playing pieces and a spinner with he extra addition of playing cards that featured as part of the game.

Congrats Jason, that's a fabulous acquisition. I've always wondered why Chad Valley was mentioned so much in the promotional materials for various SW items, and then only ended up with the projector set. Definitely the poor relation of the UK distributors!

Really pleased to pick up the Palitoy 1980 Hobbies catalogue. Though mostly ww2 planes, there are a few pages of Star Wars in it and some interesting Black Hole and Aliens stuff. Looking for the 1984 Building on Success catalogue to complete all the Palitoy ones with Star Wars in them!
