Super catalogue, Jason. Nice to know that your efforts in recycling tatty old bits of card pays off :D

As an aside, that last page caught my attention. I've recently bought a board game off eBay that appears to be the forerunner of "Destroy Death Star" and is identical in almost every respect. It's called "Salvo!" and dates from the early 1970s and was manufactured by Palitoy. Great game but quite complex. A link to it is here:

https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/94074/salvo

Looks familiar! I guess they recycled a few old board games.

Terrific addition, and good to see this again. I remember looking through this Palitoy catalogue in a Harlow toy shop in the early 80's. Great memories! :-D

Interesting to see the slightly prototype INT 4 , always like looking at the prototype imp transporter with the x wing engine Thanks for posting :)

Great stuff Jason, it's interesting to see that whilst the catalogue is from 1982, small head Han is shown in the falcons cockpit. Do you think this was just a stock photo from earlier on or could he be out there on later cardbacks!

Last of the Diamond Jubilee catalogues thanks to Laurence Dyer.

Love it!
The Playnts are cool, but I have to say the store display of Star Wars masks is just stunning! 8)

Awesome catalogues 8) As Steve said, that Play Mask display is amazing- rocking horse poo though! It's hard enough to find the masks...

Congrats Jason, that's a fabulous acquisition. I've always wondered why Chad Valley was mentioned so much in the promotional materials for various SW items, and then only ended up with the projector set. Definitely the poor relation of the UK distributors!

Really pleased to pick up the Palitoy 1980 Hobbies catalogue. Though mostly ww2 planes, there are a few pages of Star Wars in it and some interesting Black Hole and Aliens stuff. Looking for the 1984 Building on Success catalogue to complete all the Palitoy ones with Star Wars in them!

What a fantastic thread to look through, not seen it before today and what a treat it was.
Many thanks for sharing these images

Hi. Was there a sheet for the wampa AND rancor? Also was there a different sheet for the battle damaged X Wing fighter?

Didn't think there was any Star Wars in this, but there are a couple of items. Thanks to Jamie Brown for this.
