Hi Ian, Thanks mate for the very kind words, I am happy that you like it :D As you can see I still miss some figures moc. What are the odd one carded ? :? any idea what star and humanoid cost today moc ? I think remember there was custom made and resealed moc years ago and also repro coats for humanoid years ago has that also gone worse today just like repro vintage star wars ? :?

The two mocs I have are an original Sentry Robot and a custom Star although I could only find the Star right now. The Star has been carded on the Italian GIG card back that it was released on (a custom made one), and the last original one went for $1300 here - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-BLACK-HOLE-1979-MEGO-GIGI-AFA-70-75-85-RARE-S-T-A-R-STAR-ITALIAN-MOC-/223255809692?hash=item33fb154e9c%3Ag%3AC30AAOSwkfxb%7EMIN&nma=true&si=dMWRXVExj27oQcKvV3Fnyfy%252BO%252F8%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I can imagine the Humanoid running into the thousands as they hardly ever come up carded or even loose. There are custom ones though but it looks like there is only one real seller of these (which is where my Star was from years ago) - https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_ssn=starwars--collector&hash=item54861160fa%3Ag%3A1MMAAOSw32Ve7eOz&item=363026538746&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=black+hole+&_sacat=0

His customs are still pretty pricey for some of them but I love the prototype customs he's made of the Palomino and Cygnus that were never produced. I've often thought about picking up a Huminoid or Old bob from him and may do at some point.

Ian

Hi Ian, That custom looks fantastic, is there any guides to ID a moc so I do not buy repro ? I hope that none of mine is fake repro :?

Yes it was the same in the 00s when I bought all my black hole moc, hard to find humanoid and star was expensive. So nothing has changed, only more expensive :(

Is bob also hard to find, I remember when I bought my moc, bob was not that hard to find ? he was only a little more expensive than vincent
Old Bob loose is very expensive, I've never seen a MOC only the repo ones.

That's a great looking board game lars, never seen one of those before and that would go nicely with my Alien board game.

As mentioned the Old Bob is really expensive loose and I have seen a carded one up for sell once but again it was in the thousands! The repro star I have is really well put together but as with all of these repro mocs you can easily tell as they use doubt;e sided tape to attach the bubble and in hand you can tell. I think you're fine with all you've bought and I'm sure you would know right away if something was off.

ok thanks for the info, looks like I maybe remember wrong or a lot has changed the last 10 years, I only want them all on moc, looks like it will be hard and expensive :(

Hi Ian, thanks for all the great info. I think I have paid about $20 for each of my moc and maybe a little more for vincent but that was in the 00. So I guess they would not make repro with this prices. I will keep an eye out for the tape the next time I buy a moc.

I do not remember where I bought the game but I think I bought it in uk or france years ago.

Been a while since I bought any breweriana due to covid 19 and everywhere being closed, so was really pleased when i bought these at a couple of local antique shops

Thanks, I can't make up my mind which is the better side.
Here's pictures of that and the internals.

Great collection, I would love to see the rest when you get the time for it

As Lars just said, both sides look fantastic so I'd swap them over each month to have the best of both worlds :D

Funnily enough that's what I do.
Display with a mirror backing, best of both worlds

Good Idea Mike, but this lives up high on a shelf at present as I just don't have the room, but if I do one day I may well give that a go. :D

By the way the sides are quite good as well...

Have you ever tried to put your lunch in it and take it with you at work ? I think that could be fun  Maybe I should see if I could buy one and do that just for fun

Absolutely loving the Black Hole pieces - only had one figure as a kid but love the film and watch it at least once a year.

Got some goodies for my birthday the other day
A complete Six Million Dollar Man, Corgi Buck Rogers Starfighter and a set of ET glow in the dark Shreddies transfers.

Remember getting the BR fighter on a family holiday to Butlins.
The SMDM is the 1st toy I ever remember getting and it's going to get displayed next to my boxed one I got a couple of years ago - delighted to have one I can handle (play with)
The ET stickers bring back some great memories, mostly me begging my mum to buy the shreddies and her saying I'd never eat them

Great birthday gifts and I agree that any good vintage toy collection should have e a loose SMDM :D

I vaguely remember those shreddies ET stickers as well and I think there was a pack of ET biscuits that were released in the UK at the same time. I still remember seeing that film for the first time at school on a bootleg VHS that the teacher bought in for the film club
