I recently rediscovered my love for Kenner's Real Ghostbuster toy line and managed to snag an almost complete set of Fright Features figures for just £15! I was only missing Venkman's ghost companion but Neil (Jackabina) came to the rescue and sent me a spare one!

So..it's not much compared to what I used to own for the RGB line and there are definitely other SWF members who have far more amazing RGB collections but..here is where it begins (again!):

RGB collection 12th August 2016.jpg

The photos in the display are from my 5th Birthday party, June 1989. Real Ghostbusters themed naturally :)

Nice to see you're back on with the Real Ghostbusters Joe and a great deal to get you started again. I never had any of these figures growing up but have often thought of dipping my toe into their world as I used to love the cartoon.

Looking forward to seeing this side collection grow (you know it'll happen!).

Ian

Thanks Ian! I was gutted when I had to sell off my RGB prototypes a couple of years back and it's been bugging me ever since (No regrets as the money was a big help at the time but I really wish I had robbed a bank instead!)

Hi Mates,

I am new here and usually a Masters of the Universe collector since 2004. Had a big moc Collection, but sold/reduced it back in 2012.

Was that MOTU Display at the top vintage? Looks like an awesome collection, great display too!

Thank you guys.

That's a German store displays, which shows the first motu run on the one side and castle grayskull with some prototype figures on the other side

Hi all,

Just a quick update on a vintage side focus I've been working on recently. It's the Kenner Indiana Jones toy line that I've been concentrating on putting a loose run together and I'm now only one away from completing it (Just the German mechanic to find). I really like the work that was put into these figures and I also have a complete Map Room set with the box as well as The Well of Souls set all complete with box. I may pick up the two other missing sets at some point but I also have the Arabian horse on its way so I'm pleased with what I have to date.

Sorry it's not the best picture and Monkey man and Toht are there but a little hidden, when I get a chance I'll try to arrange them all a little better so you can see them all in their complete glory :D

Hope you enjoy!

Ian

Lovely Indy collection. You're right about the great quality. For the time I don't think any other action figure line was as well made. I always think the playsets are quite random and perhaps not as appealing to kids as other lines. I only have one thing - a mint in box map room, and I love it.

That's a great set to have and I agree that the sets were a little random for this line. It's a shame that they didn't do well as I would have loved to have seen what Kenner would have done with Temple of Doom although I do have the only 3 figures released from that film that LJN put out. I'll post a picture of them up when I get them set up in my well overcrowded cabinet.

Fantastic indy run, been contemplating having a go at this myself. The map room is a great playset. Much like the kenner Star Wars packaging the Indy packing really appeals to me. Thanks for showing.

Good point about the temple of doom run. No doubt more random sets. A Lao Chei airplane, a mining cart railroad. The figures would have been great - Short Round, Willy Scott and the dude eating 'snake surprise'. Lol

How did I miss this sweet Jesus, best MOTU collection I've seen. Will you be my friend?

That's an insane MOTU display - amazing!

Good to see the ghostbusters back Joe, it's a great line

Scarface has inspired me to post my Action Man display - nowhere near as impressive but it keeps me happy
