Looking to sell vintage Kenner Carrying Case with 29 Figures

Congrats on the auction win. I hope they are as good as they look. A nice selection of some desirable figures and I'm sure the case will get some interest and get you some of your outlay back.

I hope this ends with both the buyer and seller being happy.

it was me who pm'd the low offer of £120 i do apologise but when i've sold things in the past on here i too have had plenty of lowball offers aswell, i didnt know it was frowned upon but i do now and will keep that in mind for the future.

I don't see it that way at all, an offer is an offer, if it's too low, just say no thank you.
Any offer is okay, I think. Peace to the world.

I agree with Holger - I wouldn't worry about it at all mate

Not to newbies / guys or don't know what they've got. I think it's unfair.

Ditto :D

Because we only moan when they bugger of to sell on the Bay, if they are lowballed we can only blame ourselves.

Great for coming forward and owning up though :D

Double ditto and a big thumbs up. :D :D

To the seller, great price mate. I had a feeling it would be out of my league though :(

I will say this...If it was all about money...I would not sell on here in some cases. (Need to clarify, this means that I usually offer my stuff cheaper on here and I am willing to work with members If it is something for their collection. If I wanted top dollar....I stick it on ebay.)

I thought £180 or so (I didn't make an offer)

He quite rightly refused to accept the £120.

But I have a feeling he may not have been as clueless as suggested. It stirred up a bit of interest

Just what I thought. Innocence is long gone in the hobby. :?

To be fair to him, he got offers, they were too low so he took it off to ebay. He then got battered for not taking an offer on here he thought was too low.

I appreciate for most it's not all about the money and its nice to do our friends a favour but this guy wasn't here for the community. He was simply here for the cheddar and that was always going to be the case. He did what he thought would be best for him and I think he has about a hundred more reasons why he was right now.

It was not one item by a collection so an estimate price is always hard to find. But if someone on here would have wanted this so bad, he would have been offered a price close to the final auction price.

But most on here obviously have those figures already and were trying to make a bargain which he got aware of. It turned out he was smarter.

Okay, just so everything is clear, he had a range of prices, the only one he mentioned is the low offer!!

My offer was going to be north of £200, I contacted him 3 times to ask him what he wants as he had said he had a range if offers... If that was true and he wanted to sell then he either takes the highest or he gives me a price that he would sell at.

This is all smoke and mirrors bs as far as I am concerned. He was never gonna take any offer...

Good luck to him, but I won't be wasting my time anymore

Looks like it sold for about the right money to be fair. He asked for offers and unless those offers were around to £300 mark then someone was getting done weren't they.
Ive bought pretty much my whole loose collection from here over the past year and for some great prices but i know selling on here does involve taking a hit on price as some will flip for a profit, which im happy with - but someone new isn't going to see that. For a one of transaction they are going to go for the best price possible and who could blame them.

I agree and as a community..who can blame me or any members for not helping with a valuation of a one time posters collection. Go to ebay and do some research I say....If it's all about top dollar and greed...I am charging for my apprasial services.
