Looking to sell vintage Kenner Carrying Case with 29 Figures

On this thread, I gave him an estimate 180 for the SW figures only without the ESB and without the case.

I offered him £180 on here - and mine was the underbid on eBay but I won't be going any higher.

I think this little lot may go for around the £240 mark - less the eBay and PayPal fees the you are looking at around £207

On a separate note, there is no divine right for people on here to expect newbies to sell to them - but it is nice when they do - I don't see the point in getting upset about it, for us these mean something more than money but for the majority of these people that come on here they are looking to get as much as they can

Can I also add that Richard has also mentioned this forum in his ebay listing and has publicly thanked us for the advice given. If nothing else it may well generate more interest from the general public (true they'll come for information then still sell on evil bay but maybe we'll get first dibs on some rare stuff )

With SW Ep VII coming up, the value of SW figures can only go up. Not good for buyers, but fantastic for sellers!

Well done for your sale. I think that final price will surprise most people, including myself.

I guess someone really wanted that carrying case. I suppose if the figures are mint and complete it's not that surprising but only if they are as mint and complete as they look.

£120 was a low offer. It's stuff like that that is the reason why sellers like this go to the bay.

I agree that price variation fluctuates from its subjective nature but at £120 for 29 figures = £4 per figure. Then you have the carry case on top of that.

I'll hold my hand up in shame, twas I that parted with so much cash (didn't intend to spend that much but had to stick a high last minute bid in just to outbid Mr 4 feedback :? :shock: ). I just hope that when the figures arrive they are as good as they appear to be in the pictures, to be honest I don't even want the carry case so expect to see it on the valuation thread once it arrives. Hopefully these will be going straight into my collection so fingers crossed they'll be good (at least they're staying within the forum )
