Major delivery today and a lovely mix of stuff.
Sadly the POTF2 sets have been opened - but condition is good and price was sensible and that counts 😀
I had planned on opening the phantom - it maybe not….

Grabbed a few bits from Game today- pleased with them (and the prices), but if I was a kid getting Ghost Rider (like kids buy toys 🙄) I'd be pissed as the box, whilst lovely, is just empty space.

Yeah - they seem to have missed the point there a little - lucky I have two, so I'm just going to leave that silly sticker be.
But the figure arrived OK and the packaging was OK - first thing I have ordered from them in like -20 years :) - so at least I have confidence they can fulfil an order now.

I picked up some D&D figures from them recently and had never used them so was wondering if it would work out. I must admit that all was fine in the end and they packed them well and even their contact was good with a few questions I had. Zavvi on the other hand have cancelled orders on me after waiting for over a year for items and packed things badly at times, so I'm getting less and less from them. I'm currently waiting on around £250 worth of pre-ordered items (the first ones I ordered in 1021!), and I've seen them turning up from other on-line retailers over here, but still no luck from them.

I'm still holding out some hope but I feel pretty done with them now unless they have something in stock.

My advice would be to never order from Zavvi, they are well known to take the order and then cancel it when they can't fulfill the orders they have.
I tend to only use Star Action Figures or Dave Tree at All The Cool Stuff.
I hope that helps.

I think you're on the money and I have been going with SAF recently which has worked out well.

Cheers though, Zavvi have really let me down one to many times and I'm not holding my breath on my last orders from them.

Ian

I haven't yet been let down by Zavvi - but they are certainly slipping in their fulfilment standards. I have 3 orders with them right now (including the Mando N1) so fingers crossed. I do have one Pokemon order that is now a few months overdue, not looking good.

Although just because I want to spread the orders around I canceled my Zavvi N1 order and placed one with ForbiddenPlanet

Mixed bag.
The Indy figures are nice and the POTF2 was a bargain, but the Tiin was a mess so ended up with an appointment with Doctor Sellotape…

Couldn't resist trying to put a Rebels run together. Although I think it will be harder and a bit more expensive than I thought. Oddly split over three lines (Rebels, Force Awakens and Rogue One) there are some cool figures but also quite disjointed. For example Hera and Zeb never got their own cards. And Sabine. It until Rogue One. But the Mission 2 figure packs are cool.
I have a few more bits on the way and going to have to hunt hard for the mission sets. I also susspect I'll try to get all the figures from the Rebels line…

I've never really looked at this line before, the art work is great.
They would look great in a cabinet.

I am fairly sure a few of these characters will get VC cards with the Ashoka show coming - Thrawn 100%, so now was a good time to grab these ones before the prices jump again (and Thrawn is already expensive). Actually Sabine Wren, Thrawn, Fenn Rau and to an extent Rex are all already pricey for real modern figures and in the Rebels Line I'm trying to understand the price behind the Temple Guard figure (which is way cool looking). Again it seems most stock is in the US as well, so shipping sucks. I hate that in the US they got Walmart versions of the core vehicles with figures and we got the standard boxed version (not so much that I have to get them) but I do wish Hasbro would remember the UK and EU as a whole is a sales market and worked on better distribution - a moan about them that stands true for todays stuff.

the more I look at the Rebels line the better it looks, is was small, 30 odd basic figures + the 2 packs, but had a lovely selection of figures from Clone Wars and OT/PT films + the Rebels cartoon - and the menacing Stormtrooper helmet artwork is very cool.

Of course, you will be ahead of the field when the next HasLab is announced as The Ghost!
