Hello all.
Looking for a bit of advice about selling a fairly large collection of modern Star Wars 3.75" figures.
About 150 figures, all unopened on cards/boxed, varying from mint to creased cards/scuffed bubbles, but the majority in, what I would call, very good condition.
56 Saga Collection, some 2 figure Comic Packs, a few shadow trooper variants, some Ep 1 stuff (including 3 autographed by Kenny Baker, Anthony Daniels and Ray Park), some Legacy Collection Battlepacks, 2010 onwards Clone Wars, Movie Heroes, Saga Legends stuff, and some other random pieces.
Obviously I know how to sell on eBay, and that would probably get me the best prices, but not sure I can be bothered selling/answering questions/packaging/posting and all the other faff.
Do you lovely people on here have any advice on bulk selling? Either selling the lot in one hit, or breaking it down into smaller chunks and selling it that way.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

Pictures are only a small part of the collection!

Hey - welcome along.

The honest answer is selling in bulk isn't quite as easy as it seems, esspically with modern stuff since most modern collectors have most stuff.
There are a few options depending on how quickly you want to sell v's how much you are looking to get:
1 - Auction sits like Vectis - they will certainly take a collection of your size and sell on your behalf, it's probably the way to get the most money back - but they take a cut and getting stuff up North to their office isn't cheep.
2 - List as bulk on Evilbay and see what happens - you could set a BIN price or just put it in for a low number and whatever it goes for it goes
3 - You could list on private forums (here) or Facebook marketplace and see what interest there is.

Whatever option you take, you will need to list everything in detail though - the more work you do there the better your return - and lots and lots of photos.

Sadly however, a lot of stuff from 'Modern' doesn't command a big price, but the two comic packs you've show here go for (asking price of) a decent amount. EP1 is becoming more popular now, not sure if signature add or take off value, all depends on the buyer.

If it were me I would be inclined to separate out the items, work out what is higher value and unique and those will likely go well and then offload the rest as a bulk sale for whatever I could get.

good luck.

Cheers for the speedy reply!
You've pretty much confirmed what I was thinking.
I'm still in the process of cataloguing and photographing everything I've got, and have a fairly good idea of which items are worth good money.
I'll probably sort the wheat from the chaff, sell those separately on eBay, then divide the rest into small batches and sell as job lots.
Just can't be arsed to sell EVERYTHING separately as it'll be a load of hassle!

Thanks for the advice. Appreciate it.
David.
