Personally i love them - i missed the initial pre-orders on the trooper - so hoping to grab one at a sensible price when stock surfaces.

so i was browsing ebay and found these two, bit damaged creasing and a minor bubble dent, but they were only £23.00, boba by himself is going for 18, so for a bit of damage i can live with that, not for everyone i know but in a star case it'll work for me

Honestly a wee bit of damage just makes the Retro MOCS look better - just fits the feel of the figure line
Great pick up mate

Picked up some food premium items, just wondering if anyone can help with identifying their place in the production process?

From 1999, made by Cadbury to coincide with the release of Episode I, when it seemed like you could slap Star Wars on anything. Cadbury re-moulded Wispa bars into SW characters.

I picked up some Cadbury pre-production bits from this promotion. Three in total, 2 are a resin/wax material & one is extremely heavy metal, that resembles Carbonite :).
Wondering if anyone knows about the pre-production process and why these were made?

Thank you in advance

I had marketing sign off moulds for the big episode one jars. There's a few Cadburys items started to appear recently, I don't really have any further info though sadly.

Just received my Droids figures - absolutely loving them. Picked up an extra R2 to open :)

So
I buy a fair bit of modern, but since it is mostly internet reorders that everyone gets not too much exciting, but recently I started playing around getting (or re-getting) some vintage stuff and dug out my copy of the Star Wars Action Figure Archive and predictably I fell back in love with the POTF2 figures.annoying that I got rid off f mine but re-collecting is the new collecting….

My plan is to get a run of basic figures and all the creatures. (Already have the EU/Shadows and cinema three packs anyway).

I suspect a few vehicles and deluxe things might sneak in… also while figures are cheep and cheerful - when did the creatures get so expensive…

Anyway. - enjoy

POTF2 is a massively over looked line and a fun one to collect…in my opinion.
As you have mentioned the creatures are creeping up in price as of late, have you had a look at the prices of the ships, especially the sealed ones?😳
I was very lucky to pick this Italian GIGI Falcon up MISB the other week, which was almost as much as a Vintage one.
Good luck in your re collecting, I do have some Italian GIGI carded figures for sale if you go down that Foreign route.🙄😏.

Ha - thanks
No, i think keeping to simple card-backs is the way. I have ended up buying the TaunTaun's and Wampa/Bantha from the US and that worked out cheeper than any
UK price, even with shipping/import - which is nuts - those things were £10 a creature back in the day.

I am looking at vehicles, x-wing, Falcon, Snowspeeder etc. and they have jumped up, i remember going to the old Forbidden Planet store when it was at the far end of Oxford Street and picking a Falcon up for £20 and the other vehicles for less (I also remember buying a EP1 Pair of Royal Naboo Starhips for £30 a pop... bargin).

POFT2 gave us a lot of innovation and new stuff, and despite the bulky bodies - pretty fun line and a good one and at 25 years old not sure it can be called modern any more :)
