Been reading today and I believe that a lot did get that bubble but in real small numbers. Might be wrong as I've over digested POTF2 information this weekend

Haha yeah we all no it's easy to do. A lot of people hate these red card potf2 figures for various reasons but I think the collectors who appreciate them are the collectors who where there at the time collecting vintage but when these came along it was special for us at the time becouse they where fresh and new on the shelves first of the now called modern. I love my thx run great memories of new star wars for over a decade.

I have picked up and looked at hundreds of these mocs and never noticed this bubble before mini99 sent the link to the reference manual.

Ep1 Bonus Pit Droid run is complete.
The card is not the best I know, but all the Darth Sidious MOCs that I have ever seen have very yellow bubbles, and this one is clear.
So went for a good bubble over a good card, and this one has my favourite red droid.

I love that - and i love they are now free of their bubble incarceration as well

Other than Forbidden Planet, i can't remember the last time i found a figure in the wild, those Retro's are a great find.

I think this will be a real problem for loose figure collectors moving forward. Moc in this incarnatation is one thing but if there turning up in asda cheap there going to turn up in lots at auctions ECT.

And the first batch of the Cartoon Network figures, I have the last 3 on order and after than need to find the four commemorative packs, cheep enough from the US but shipping is a killer....

My only Star Wars pre prod items are these recently acquired marketing sign off moulds for Cadbury's chocolate jars for Episode One. They were bought from the factory and acquired by me direct from the ex Cadbury employee that bought them from the factory. He has also provided a signed letter and I have his LinkedIn details.

Those clones do make a nice set... I do wonder if it would be nicer if they had the artwork using the same colour detailing as the figure inside, but it doesn't really detract from them having them all the same.

I don't ever remember seeing these out in the shelves, the clones do look cool. I'd be tempted to army build them so dont tempt me anymore :lol:

Picked these up and am now hunting down all the VC figures from all the Disney films - sucker.... I am sure I will end up going for all the Prequel films as well, but some of them are silly expensive, not that they will get cheaper.
Anyway....

Love the VC myself mate. My loft ceiling is full of them in starcases, think it looks pretty good next to the same thing but vintage. Only spare i have at the mo tho is a mint Gammorean Guard if you want him. 1 of the best figures in my opinion as he has proper material clothing with an awesome backing card, or whatever you want to call that hairy swimsuit! Would be £24 posted. Not Disney just yet but you need him in your life!
