Received my Gentle Giant 1/6 Scale Ahsoka Tano mini-bust. Absolutely love this piece! Now if we could just get a full figure version.

I got Black Series Darth Vader and Stormtrooper for my daughters - They're going down quite well.

But what has gone down a STORM is Princess Leia Endor gear: Forces of Destiny line! Star Wars dolls effectively. About 8 quid from Forbidden planet and exactly what they wanted. Its got a doll (leia) costumes (a change of clothes between Endor poncho and Leia Ewok Village dress) and even COMES WITH A TEDDY BEAR! (Well Wicket, but they don't know better)

We even watched the Wicket/Leia scene from ROTJ so they understood. V sweetly they Jumped out their skin on each biker scout shot and when one sneaks up.

My dastardly plan to turn them into SW fans continues.... under their mothers nose. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

A few more as I close in fast o a man EP 1 collection.

The two packs are amazing - and the eBay seller even included star cases - happy days.

The creature packs likewise, lovely.

The figures a little sleds so, but only 5 so don't care so much, the mails are nearer cards but the two pack is ok, certainly for the price.

Only a few bonus Droid packs to go now. I guess I will end up going after the pit droids as well at some point.

Need to draw a little breath now though....

I do like the artwork and colours of the episode 1 figures and ships etc. Look forward to seeing it set up in the future 8)

I wanted the Maul but not the Obi Wan, everyone was only selling as a pair, so I missed out on him.

Dark black card with splash's of red and Maul in the top corner.
It doesn't get much better as far as art work is concerned.

So - general question what are the vintage collection figures so damn expensive for modern figures. The phantom menace ones I am going after are costing an arm and a leg. I think all 15 or so will cost more that the original 50...

Nice set and the figures are so vibrant. Very cool and I think the fake aged card image is cool, although I am not sure entirely needed. All the same I Hope we get more and these as this could be a lovely sub-line...

Well, after working like a complete nut case over the past six months decided August was treat time so checked out some Entertainer stores once a week. Some have already gone to a few collectors, and in the process of doing a few trades with others.


Not pictured is the 6inch Tarkin and Jaina Solo for £5 each from TK maxx, I watched the local lizard(scalper) pick them up and then try to hide them whilst he was clearing the rails of clothes to ebay.... :lol: Wish Tarkin came with a side arm of some sort but ill forgive Hasbro due to the inclusion of a nice medical droid.

Nice pick ups monkey, really liking those vc cards. Keep looking at doing a run of these but need to finish off Solo and Rogue one first, kick myself for not picking up a Maul a while back, not sure what I was thinking at the time (ok I clearly wasnt thinking :lol: ). Are you coming across ep1 vc cards often?

I picked up these as well and agree with what you've written. The end of the day these are based on the vintage ones but aren't the same and as i have a reseal set these fit in nicely as something similar but different that i quite like. I don't even mind the massive sticker for some reason although i could have done without the paper sheet but it wasn't a deal breaker in the end for me.

Oddly I'm more looking forward to the other six if they ever get released....it might be as I have more Jumbo versions of the other 6 so want to display these with em.

A few modern bits for me.
Firstly two of the five twin packs with bonus pit droid.

And a Freeze Frame viewer.
The viewer is still sealed as are the two freeze frames that came with the viewer and they are still taped to the card insert.
Complete with instructions and in a good condition mailer.

Now looking for the mail away slide binder if anyone has any leads please let me know.

Trouble is, won't you feel compelled to get all of them, i.e. each version of the pit droid for each figure

I know if i buy one i will need all of them, so holding off - but they are very cool

I know what you mean, but when it comes to modern I do tend to stick to my guns, and that means one of each figure only.
But, I may only buy the rest with the Pit Droid in one colour...maybe?
