Those 6" look to be a bloody bargain, particularly as the only 6" I've seen are the Black series, not sure even the magic of Aldi would be able to put them out at £6.99 each though. Maybe a cheaper version just for Aldi? Still a good price though.

Picked this up today, from disney store, i couldn't resist, another line to collect, really nice pieces, they have a great selection, and come with a stand a plus compared with the black series line,

finally.. I got a MOC minnie/slave leia.. bloody hard to find and very few come available.. Ive got a loosie.. I believe there was a version with the wording saying slave on it, but that got pulled.. must be some out there and I guess that variant becomes a possible 'grail' piece. but this will do nicely

That's a nice piece, I'm off to America next November so hoping to pick up a few of this series from Disney world. How much does this series currently go for outside of Disney. Would love to start collecting them.

^ I will chime in on this one as I can't resist, the Disney crossover line is great and one of the best, if a little quirky things to come out of the modern lines.

The line itself has been going years. I began with a Mickey as Indiana Jones and then picked up in SW with a one wave detour into Pirates of the Carabbiean.

The after market price can we wildly varied, if you get the limited figures they can cost a lot as each figure was very limited, the exclusive Stich as Palpatine to commemorate ESB only had 1980 made, likewise the Donald shadow trooper and Jedi Mikey with Ewok figures and I think a Mickey and Donald two pack were limited and convention exclusives.

Then there are a tow large box sets with five or six figures in each and one cool Jedi star fighter as well. There are also four box sets with two figures a piece in there, one of which is Jedi Mickey with Yoda, which is brilliant.

It should also be said that there was a wave that updated several figures so I think there are two variants of Donald as Darth Maul for example.

They are great fun, but be ware, if you go down this rabbit hole it will cost a bit and drive you nuts as some of the, are very hard to find, but so worth it. I haven't been to a Disney park for a few years, but they always had some of these in stock, mostly the more recent waves, but I say crack on and go for it, with the new films we might get more of these now as they have been a bit lean in recent years.

I really should dig mine out for a decent photo one day.

That is quite a collection you have mate. Definitely look great. Seems it is cheaper in some cases to ship from American than to buy in this country. Definitely gonna have to start collecting this series.

Hey naughtyjedi, I am not saying there isn't a slave Leia figure, but it is quite unlikely. If there is it would have been an error on the prod utility line and recalled quickly as the word slave is not one Disney would want to have anywhere.

Personally I think that could be one of those urban myths, but Happy to be proved wrong, certainly I have never seen one and my figure was factory fresh from the week they were released so would have been one of the early batches, you never know though...

On a similar note you might have seen that Disney have announced that never again will a Leia toy be produced in the slave outfit, so expect a Disney special, special edition of ROTJ soon where Jabba dresses Leia in a onesy

Well i've had a few bad weeks lately healthwise, come home from hospital today, and the wife had gotten me some early christmas prezzies
these are the 6.99 aldi six inch figures, smaller than the black series and i think 5 POA, but look good on display, got an extra kylo ren figure if anyone wants it at cost plus postage, my local aldi only had one full set and a couple of extra figures so if you want a set be quick

Also the new empire mag has a sainsburys exclusive issue which comes with a kylo ren figure, 11.99, and a limited edition

not sure why I bought a graded jorg Sacul figure seems a bit of a pointless grading. May have to remove him from that case. Do they open or is it a sealed box never had one before?

As for the jorg sacul, its going to be hard to bust out of there the cases are sealed pretty well if your not carefull you could damage it, it is a rarer figure maybe keep it as is?

They look really good mate, especially for the money. Maybe someone should explain to Hasbro/Disney they'd likely make more money if everything was such good value.
