B-wing came from my uncle who lives out in Oklahoma, so the B-Wing worked out at 10 quid with 16 quid postage, the falcon i got off a classified add in my local paper, he had it up for 150 but i was able to knock the price down to £110 cash, that being said i feel very lucky with both prices I have seen the legacy falcons go for over 300 quid boxed on the bay but i was not going to tell him that :P

Rich

Awesome Rich! 8) 8)

i managed to get my Legacy Falcon around 18 months back from the NEC of all places for £150! But that is a steal! 8)

pm sent too :)

Daughter fancied a break from studying yesterday so we made the trip to our nearest Forbidden Planet and came home with this lot

Stormie is really nice, shame there was only one as we want a few of them. Mission series R2 and 3PO are pretty good but R2's paint app isn't the best, was the only one left so couldn't compare it to others.

Just finished that last post and had another delivery - 5 Koto Stormies that my daughter had ordered
The Stormtroopers and Sandtroopers are for her display but she treated me to the Sergeant as an early fathers day present :D :D :D

Can't help but smile when you are opening these things - boxes and packaging are just so nice

I love the Koto Star Wars line, just wish they would go back to the bigger scale.
I also had the Sandtrooper's on order but cancelled them as I got fed up with waiting for them.

lots of cool modern stuff, love the koto statues, only have a couple but they are great
Added more astro droids to my shelf, love these guys

That is a great looking display and I have spotted so many things that I want to add to my collection
Absolutely love your droids - I'm putting together an R2 focus and after looking at you pics I've added a few more things to my want list :D

Same with your modern collection, I pretty much started writing down things you have that I want - doesn't help that you have such a good eye for displaying (never wanted a Bespin Luke until I saw your one hanging down, same for the Ben and his table complete with Holo Leia)

But the highlight for me was finding someone else that mixes Mork with Star Wars :D

Glad you like the display, its all really crammed in there, but i like it like that, i love the droids, there are so many variations out there, and mork is cool, i have the mini mork in half his egg to , i'm working on an eighties shelf to but need more goodies for that, heman, ateam etc

I've thought about doing something similar - got my Happy days annual and Fonz doll that really needs some display space. Trouble is I know if a set some space aside I'll go nuts and start collecting other things from the 70's and 80's. Bionic man would be something I would love to get back into, he was my fav pre SW toy.

Yeah its knowing when to quit, i to have that problem, :D fonz and happy days, cool, that the mego figure?, theres so many things to choose from, especially for just one shelf, maybe i should quit before i end up with another display case full of goodies

well i got a nice fathers day prezzie

What a cracking present, great figure and the card it's on is so clean and bold - love it

Got a nice addition to my growing R2 focus. One of my favourite figures, love the play value with all the accessories it comes with

Awesome gents and i only need that vader to complete my silver run but everytime i see it on ebay i cant help but think the saber will get broke in the post :(

I was worried about that,it is a daft way to design a figures packaging with the blade out like that, but the seller boxed it up well and it got here fine
i need the clone and stormy to complete the silver fig line, i have them loose but after carded.
Good luck on finding your own vader

Heres my modern focus.. so far.. really feels good to decide on one modern range, I had stuff from all over the place, but have moved that on. Now I feel cleansed that my madness has been refined. (this is not the display, its the collection)

Thats a fine collection, i didn't know they had done so many versions of slave leia, they do look great all together

Mint condition cookie jar, £24 at a boot fair this morning! It pretty impressive (vintage see-threepio in the pic for scale)
Big piece that I bought for my brother as a gift, but now its home... looks too good in the den as a display piece to pass on...oops!

I don't do modern anymore. At the moment, space is a premium at home with a little one on the way but we are planning a move to somewhere bigger in a year to 18 months and I have been promised a man room.

Seeing some of the stuff you guys have picked up really makes me think there is some modern bits that look great on display. That c3po is awesome.

Thanks guys, certainly stands out in the Den!

Love that 3PO

Couple of recent pickups -

Han and Luke 6" Was chuffed to find these in my local toy shop - still no sign of Boba though

Dagobah R2 - really delighted with this MOC. Honestly been after him for years but was holding out for one with a nice mud paint job, seen some horrors completely covered from top to bottom in thick mud but this one looks like the picture on the card.
