Great stuff Colin, who doesn't love a bit of Star Wars for Christmas!

No Star Wars for me this year, my youngest is very much into Young Jedi Academy at the minute though, and was somewhat happy with his SW presents

Got these bargains today...both £2.50!! And the yoda book for 30p. Just started collecting lego SW books with the minifigures, nice little side collection 👍 17064622462235392729580902707172.jpg

Slightly mixed feeling here.
Super happy to finally own this one - been after it for years and not able or willing to pay the silly boxes prices so a loose one at 40 seemed like a bargain. It is complete which is great, right down to the little missiles under the wings etc.
The down side it is pretty scuffed up - I've cleaned up what I can but without some specialist stuff (out of my skill zone) it is a bit rough around the edges.

Still it will look nice on the shelf and one day I'll get the boxes one…. One day.

Always wanted on myself but never quite got round to it. I do have KO Lego ucs ship which is lovely.

These three have been on the collectors bucket list for years and are the last three needed to complete the commemorative tin sets (14 in total I believe)

I do feel like I am snagging up a few of the long coveted items right now with a bit of a view to slowing down 😀

Now those bring back memories of great collection days. I have maybe three or four of these.

Just checked my listings and I have the ROTJ, AOTC and ROTS sets. Damn the Legacy collection was good too.

I could have sworn I had this guy MOC ages ago but I was mistaken. So, luckily I didn't open him when buying on sale to open 😂

Excuse the Transformers set please.

I picked up the VC set here for something like £15 from an online seller. It's pretty cool actually, reminds me of the old 30th Battle Packs.

Another bucket list purchase and for once I think a bargain - these arrived sealed and in their original hasbro shipping case…. Bonus.

The one comment i will make is some of the figure choices are odd, No Leia seems an odd one, 2 Lukes is maybe 1 too many, but even so a lovely
'Oddity' for the collection.

As I hunt around I think the last big oddity I'm looking for are the order 66 two-pack cylinders.

Anyway.

Wasn't really collecting any more modern figures but couldn't pass on this R2.

The previous release with the terrible weathering was just shocking and ruined a lovely display MOC - this version is much better, easily my favourite card picture (y)

And so it begins…
The first of a few purchases of EP3 figures
I'm off to London CC this weekend so hopefully some more found there - better than the mildly overpriced evilbay stuff.

Totally agree - I remember thinking back in 2005 what great looking packaging it was (especially after the ***** that was the Saga line) - It felt clean and clear and the revamped bubbles where a slight innovation at the time. The figures where pretty decent as, good moulding and paint jobs and the articulation was nice and not over the top (not that I'll ever take them out the cards) - the holo's and translucent effects were a big step forward as well.

I still think the EP1 was the best line from the Prequels, but this is a good one and more manageable to collect that Saga (although I will now have to get to that to round it all off). Also, and more importantly, these are not expensive if you hunt around....

So these aren't exactly Revenge of the Sith - although the Early Bird set came out in 2005 alongside ROTS line so it counts and the POTJ set has been a holy grail of mine for a while - the elusive Mexican 4-pack…
