Nice one, I think out of all of the recent VC vehicles that have had a release or reissue that one has got to be my favourite so far. Its a lot bigger than I had anticipated for sure, hope you enjoy it.

This little furry thing arrived this morning from C&C, I have to admit that I actually like him and think I should of got him earlier. The kicker though, is now I want the other Ewok from the Heros of Endor set....I already have Endor Luke, Leia and Han as singles.... hmmmm

Anyone got one that hates Ewoks?...... Worth a try

I just bought this set on facebook, i have them boxed already so good to have a loose set, the titanium series, mostly diecast figures with plastic parts, they have swapout blades with swoosh effects and blasters with blast effects to

They did an ANH set to, which is also very cool, again with the same swap out parts, and they have bases with reversible backplates

They only did these two sets, personally i think the original retail price of 20 quid each put people off, maybe 15 or lower would have been better,

yeah they are a nice set, i need to slow down a bit, had a lot of stuff recently :D but i do have my eye on a couple of items, it never ends!

From the supposed none mint special offer from Kapow Toys, this landed this morning. In my opinion its near mint not that hes going to sit in a box.

Also managed to finally get my hands at least one R2, why on earth Hasbro haven't given us a clean one I do not know....

When the posty knocked on the door and handed me this I thought, oh god what have I done.....

She is absolutely huge, sadly shes going to have to stay in the box for a while until I can sort out somewhere on the shelf for her to go. Probably wait until I get a bigger place with a nice sized spare room then I can go to town with a proper cave.. If you have the space and have the opportunity to grab one, do it.

These two arrived today. Had to get another snowspeeder Luke for the speeder, as I didn't want to open the nice card back. Also the Dagobah Luke and Yoda pack is excellent, a bargain from Kapow Toys and it really was mint. Super happy to finally get hold of it, not sure how they are still available to be honest.

those do look good, i'm passing on them, trying to stick to OT only, but they are tempting :D

We pre ordered them ages ago. Before they arrived I'd decided I was going to stick to OT and would just put them up for sale when they arrived as a sealed box. They arrived in an open box which meant w could pull them out for a look.......definitely making it harder to sell now that I've seen them

I've gone for a few of these figures that should be arriving soon although I didn't order Cara Dune and I'm not getting caught up in all of the madness surrounding people picking up her figures at inflated prices. I can understand people wanted to complete their certain collections though so I guess you have to pay the prices asked at times.

I do think these look pretty nice though and I'm glad I'll have some in my collection :)

Loving the 50th figures! Really nice.

My Mando Retro set arrived this morning. Love them! First thing I did was remove the awful leaflets. Will have a go at the stickers later...

Mine turned up as well. After hearing a lot of negative chatter about them, I'm really impressed by them. Removing the stickers fills me with dread

Yeah, the stickers aren't the easiest to remove! Wish they would knock the stupid fake card scuffing on the head though. My son was comparing them to my vintage MOCs yesterday and found it very amusing!

Did you manage to get the stickers off in the end Andy? I've heard that they can be a problem although some people have had success with using a hair dryer (no use you my though, there hasn't been a hair dryer in the house since the 90's lol!).

 I always steal Rach's ;)

Mixed results. Most came off fine, hairdryer then gently peeled one edge. Takes a while to get it started. Once you've got enough peeled to get grip, you can heat and pull. Some left some residue, which comes off with patience and furniture polish. Need to be careful here, as the litho on these is nowhere near as tough as on vintage cards.

However, the ones on Greef and Cara were awful! They were welded on and just wouldn't peel in one piece. Both damaged the litho, so I ended up putting one of the stickers I got off in one piece back on to cover the damage on the Greef card :(

The leaflets are easier, just used a Stanley knife inserted at the bottom of the bubble where it's not stuck down, then carefully followed the line of the bubble edge down into the bottom left corner and about a third of the way up the left hand side. Then used tweezers to remove the leaflet and sealed back up with clear PVA applied with a brush (as per your advice years ago!) and then clothes pegs to hold together for a few hours. You wouldn't know they had been opened 8)

I thought those stickers might have been a problem and it's a shame you couldn't shift a couple of them but at least you managed to get a few off.

Sounds good about getting the paperwork out as well but I so wish they didn't include it in the first place or the stickers, it all feels a bit pointless. I picked up 4 of these figures and left Cara, Kuiil and Greef as I didn't want a whole bunch of them. I do like this series of figures though but it is a shame that the packaging is so poor in places for them. The card backs are so thin and the bubbles are thin as well which is far from what we had way back when they were first released in the 70's. All of Hasbro's other 3.75 releases also have better card backs and bubbles ect, so I really don't understand why they went so cheap with these (unless this is hasbro's idea for saving the planet?!).
