Also picked up the last Episode One figure I needed to finish the full set of single carded figures...For some reason it wouldn't attach this photo to the last post I did above so had to make a fresh post....

Congrats on the full run Russ mate. It's weird how focus' change. From my own point of view i did the full lot of EP1 years back and have now sold them all for less than i paid for them. Still got all the ships, vehicles, etc, love the fambaa took me an age to find 1. I concentrate on black series now but am sure i will get shot of them when something else comes out. I collected retro consoles for a few years and havent touched them for the last couple of years there must be a few grands worth of gaming shite down 1 isle of my display that i could really do with the space but i cant be arsed to sell it off. Same with jakks WWF classic superstars. Anyone else got other **** they are now not so bothered about? Bottom line is SW comes 1st.

Just received in post, the first wave of the newly launched Vintage Collection. I big fan of them when they were last out and looking forward to future releases.

Love the vintage. Where did you get them from, and were you happy with their condition? I ordered figures from Disney once and the cardbacks were bent.

I bought them from Kapow Toys, got them for £69.99 on pre order, came in perfect condition. The card is a bit thinner than the earlier VC, plus the bubbles are bigger but it does not bother me. The only thing I wish was different is they come punched and have two bit of tape on the edge of the bubbles.
Still think they are excellent.

Picked this one up today. I have sold him twice and regretted it. Definitely one of the greatest Star Wars figs. Need to get a loose one now.

A real shame they are going, I will miss them, just had a smyths open up in the area, so i'll at least have somewhere to shop apart from online
Wish i'd had gotten a small toys r us sign or similar to remember them by, at least I have my last purchase this set 12 quid not bad

You poor man I feel really sorry for you. Picking up rose is not a glamorous job but someone has to do it. :lol: I remember picking up two thinking it would be a neat character. Then I watched the movie.

You should have bought all of them and make an army of a really poorly written character. Weirdly enough I haven't seen a single rose around my stores for a while.

Finally picked up Captain Phasma with the silver pouch...This was the first release of the figure which was then followed up with the more common black pouch variant....the card back is a little worn but theres no real great dings or creases as such...Got it for a very good price as well which was a bonus...
