Saw Jurassic World the other day, I really liked it. As others have said, better then 3 due to lack of cheese. Not sure how they can improve on the formula, but it is a little bit samey after all these years...should we expect another in a year or two? any news?

Their defo making another one.

Watched a movie last night called 'Snitch' with the Rock in, wasn't bad tbh, and just watched ' Man On Fire' incredible film

Went to see the new poltergeist movie, not a patch on the original, very meh!, also saw terminator, i really enjoyed it, mindless fun lots of action, and Arnie is great in it

Just bought the flight of the pheniox the first original movie which I think is the best.

I personelly thought Ted 2 was was of the funniest films ive seem for years. 10 times better than the 1st and 100 times more controversial. Looking forward to seeing Pixel tonight. Started to watch it last night but fell asleep. PS Has anyone seen the Cobbler and is it worth a watch?

Also watched Ted 2, laughed my ass off. Thought it was really funny. Going to watch Antman on Tuesday

Went to see Pixels with my son last week - rubbish. What a let down.

What was a great concept of retro video games coming to life should have been great but the jokes are so unfunny. They just fall flat, i was hoping for sharp humour but if you're looking for an Anchorman or a Farrelly Bros or even a Jason Segel/Seth Rogen type thing this ain't it.
If I had known Adam Sandler was in this beforehand I would have thought twice - Happy Gilmore was funny but that was 20 years ago. This is basically like every other unfunny Adam Sandler film. They were trying to go for a Ghostbusters feel but the humour wasn't even 1% of Ghostbusters. An opportunity lost as it was a great idea and the effects are good.

Just watched that Kingsman The Secret Service, thought it was ok actually. Light entertainment, goes a bit weard at the end but these films usually do. Don't go out of your way to watch it though. :?

Just watched the new vacation movie, i enjoyed it, with a few nods back to the older movies, chevy and beverly both show up for a cameo, worth a watch

Just watched San Andreas...what a POS, the effects are good, but the storyline is utter bollocks with Dwayne (the rock) surviving some utter stupid moments, i was laughing!

its ok if your bored, but terrible if you like a believable script.

I thought that might be the case so that film can stay at the bottom of my to do list

Looking forward to the new Evil Dead though..

Latest film watched is Somm which is basically a documentary following 4 guys as they study to become master sommeliers'. Interesting insight to another world of obsessive's with massive knowledge on a huge subjects. Also really made me want a drop of vino :D

That new everest movie, good show but sad. You sure need alot of drive and things going for you to make it up and down safely on that mountain.

Watched a phew films lately, the first 2 expendables not bad if you have some beers at the same time. Second one is probably the best of the two. Also watched The Theory of Everything which as really good recomend it for sure. Then for some reason ended up watching Boat Trip, what a load of rubbish, although plenty of hot birds and spose it's quit funny in parts. :?

The Expendables - 6/10
The Expendables 2 - 7/10
The Theory of Everything - 8/10
Boat Trip - 4/10

Just watched st vincent, with bill murray, really liked it, and for tonight its raiders, still love the movie, and it looks great on bluray

Just got my surround sound set up again now HWMBO has decided the front room is staying as is (yeah right) so the most recent thing I've watched is actually Star Wars. Not A New Hope, the original, pre tampering, Han shoots first cinematic version from the 2006 dvd release. Feckin awesome.

What we do in the shadows - genius. Its on netflix and a rare film these days to make me L O L

The Martian. I went with a mate to see this and thought i could get some kip. But really enjoyed it. Matt Damon was excellent, the support cast was 1st class and what appears to be a format genre I hate, i really really became engrossed. I was secretly hoping some alien life would appear somewhere...
